When i was playing the Witcher 3, i thought the landscape and nature were a bit unrealistic, chaotic as it was. In Germany, France and Luxembourg, nature and forests are controlled by the state and there are barely places that are not looked after (cutting down ill trees, keep spacing in between trees so they can develop, etc.).
However, driving through eastern europe, i can confirm that Witcher 3's landscapes are exactly what the forests and nature in general look like here. That makes shit so immersive.
