    Bows have been given longer cooldowns to prevent archers from being op, and as well has shields preventing 100% arrow damage, no matter the enchantments. The smaller hitbox means that you can actually dodge attacks and dodging attacks isn't like trying to dodge thousands of punches a second from a dragon ball z character or something. Also, like I said, it will take a while for everyone to actually get used to the new PVP, right now people are just getting used to it and it will take a while for people to actually be skilled in it. Sword's slice attack is very strong and the cooldown is only 1.5 longer than how fast you could hit before. Another point mojang will probably replace it in a 1.9.2 update or something, since they may have not done a lot of multiplayer pvp testing and people will be complaining. So people need to stop whining about it and deal with it, Mojang isn't gonna remove it and you are just gonna have to get used to it, that's a fact, not an opinion too.

    On the server I usually spleef on there is a guy that is in short an absolute prick and bully to everyone. He is egotistical and strokes it by making other people feel less about themselves and it has become my goal to get to a point I can beat him so bad it will humble him.

    The problem is he is one of the best spleefers on the server and his arrogance is not entirely unfounded. Its a goddamn shame that sometimes the most capable are the meanest.
