I hear rumors of a Cake Wars competitive league. Anyone know where I can find the info about it and join the discord?

Wheel Chair - Special item that can be found in chests. Right click the Old Man with this to take him for a ride! This is the only way you can move the Old Man without being the Nurse Kit

Nurse Kit -
-- Starts with 5 steak
-- Has ability to carry old man for 10 seconds (30 second cooldown)
-- Kit Progression
Level 5: carry old man for 20 seconds
Level 10: Reduce cooldown to 20 seconds
Level 30: Starts with 10 steak
Level 75: Reduce cooldown to 10 seconds
Level 100: No cooldown, can carry old man forever.

Changed team numbers (again) - I can't remember who, but someone suggested that both gamemodes have the Mineplex classic of 16 players per game. Because of this there are two versions: 4 teams of 4 and 8 teams of 2 (Just like Cake Wars).

Changed Old Man Mechanics - Now can only be moved my the Nurse kit or the wheel chair. Otherwise he will aimlessly wander around the glade.

Maze Monsters - Now despawn once it becomes day. They leave a trace of nether portal particles.

Changed Maze Monster Scout Mechanics - Banner cooldown reduced to 30 seconds. Now they can see name tags and are given speed II. They are not affected by hunger.

Wow, I just gained a lot of respect for Mineplex staff. I was playing a few games of Cakewars with Pxbbles / Stxne and I discovered what you guys experience on a daily basis. Literally every game we played everyone targeted our team and hackusated us. You guys also get spammed a lot which definitely sucks. Thank you so much Mineplex staff for helping out the server, even if it ruins your own Mineplex experience.

How do I join Staff Request?

I've always wanted to apply for trainee on Mineplex, even back in the day when it was called "Helper" (3 or for years ago). Unfortunately, I've never been able to find time in my schedule to make a commitment like that. Anyways, recently I was talking to one of my teachers at school. Apparently volunteer hours look good on the resume, and somehow helping the Mineplex community out in various ways will count towards those volunteer hours. Because of this I'm reconsidering applying, but I'm still not sure if there's room in my schedule for this. I'll keep ya guys posted, wish me luck .
