The issue is that there isn't any evidence to support religious events and there isn't any evidence to disprove of religious events. This means that the argument itself is pointless on both sides, because neither of them have any evidence to support their claims.

But you need some REASON to believe in something. Honestly, I would like to know, why DO you believe? As I asked above, because your parents taught you? Because it says that there is a god in a book that comes from a time when people didn't know what lightning was? The whole in saying "I believe" and not "I know" is that there is no proof for or against it, at least none that you (or the people around you know about). But I am still interested to know, and I dont mean this in a provoking way, WHY you believe (in God for instance). I'm really interested to know.
