A rapid push is made to secure the mines in Carthagian lands and the one closest to Carthage in the dead lands. A message is sent to Israel, offering to buy the mid-Saharan pocket from them and offering the services of the massive ports of Carthago and its ship-lords to them. They also are prepared to give exclusive rights to Greek land if they give them the pocket.
