You are leaving out the acceleration factor. The rhino can move at that speed after accelerating, but a horse accelerates much faster, and is more mobile and agile, so getting past them wouldn't be impossible

And this is simple armor. Arrows can pass through rather easily

2 giant pigs can mobilize and are more agile than a big lumbering rhino. I am a very big person and my friend Noah is not. I can beat him in a race, i just takes me a Lon time to reach my top speed. He is smaller and can accelerate much faster, so if it's a short distance he will win. Weight effects acceleration

griss i talked about your Xbows, second not really rhino are strong af and have better stamina, plus we have 2 riders on each rhino, and one of them is an archer, so ya while our arrows can easly kill your riders and animals, you can only try to take our riders. also, you know its fcking hard to aim while you are riding boars (they ride like shit)

The crossbow did not exist in the Bronze age, I believe.

It's also hard to aim on the back of any animal, especially at a moving target going in the opposite direction. Also, a crooked spear can easily remove any rider from any mount, which my Mongol Horseman use

as i saied it will b useless since the rhino will just bash the horse, the rider and if there is horse behinde him he will die aswell. so ya you killed the rider, you still die (plus there is second rider)

and the first one have longspear/pike (idk the differences) wich is probbly longer or as long as crooked spear (i cant find info on this weapon) and they are higher then your horse riders.

But you keep leaving out one part. The heavier and bulkier an animal is, the less agile it is. It doesn't matter if the rhino can run faster, a horse can turn faster and accelerate quicker.

My point is, size and speed do not matter in this equation. This is about manueverability as agility
