The arena is basically a 50ft wide and 50 ft long sand arena. Normally there will be no cover but for some cases (like this) there would be small walls and bushes inside.

What about troops designed for siege?

Possibly build a small fort

Also, responding to your roast earlier, I don't bring slaves to my own. I use actual workers because that's what a real businessman do. Slaves are just given to Shigori. War, other the other hand, I am a daimyo of Shigori. So ofc I had to bring war to me.
