  • Major native leaders from Africa are taken north to demonstrate the superior power and riches of the Bloodsworn. They are awed into swearing allegiance to Ologor, and will now enjoy the benefits of being a Bloodsworn vassal. Blood-Carvers, the fierce battle-priests of Clan Isenblood, are sent to spread the salvation of the North to these lands.

A new branch of the Bloodsworn military has been trained, named the Legionem Auxilia, has been made, designed to take troops from newly taken lands and make them into soldiers worthy of Ologor, who has also taken the time to create a new language for the Bloodsworn, Kamenia (AKA Latin). This branch will also act as a vital part of the colonial effort, and includes the many merchant-warriors of Bloodsworn.

I see a heavy Romantic movement going on here...
Qarir explorers, after some talk with natives, discover iron ore deposits in the south and wish to mine it and find more mines.

Perhaps in your colony? Also, just say you aren't trading Colonial goods to other nations to prevent his monopoly

Now I'm downright confused. How the bloody heck are they in my colony? I have troops stationed throughout the African territories. Any military activity anywhere near my land would have been noticed by now. You can't just walk in and "exploit". Our colonial borders are closed to foreigners, if not before then they are now.

I'm confused as well, I'm just not selling goods and building a palisade
The famine dies down as the heat of spring arrives. The winter fades, the diseases slowly die off, and the fungus is met with harsh tropical rains, washing it away
Rumors are circulating through the rural villages near the Western Palace of Rhun. It is said that a construction project has begun, and renovations are being made to abandoned dungeons below the palace. Could it be related to the rural blacksmith and his family that were escorted to the palace by a military guard a few weeks ago? This is only the talk of local taverns, and the far corners of the world are oblivious to these events. On a side note, some villagers saw a flock of birds flying out of a palace window, splitting and heading multiple directions.

((Steel weapons and armor, coming to a blacksmith shop near you! Maybe....))
((Also, I would like to know that few of you, if any, should know about the discovery, and even fewer should know it's significance. For all the other nations know, it might just be some fancy new, harmless metal for jewelry.))

I'd hate to be that guy that gets harmless metal, though would be surprised at it being fancy.

I think now would be a good time to do a census of each nation's populations, since people are joining and leaving.

Also, I'd like to know how long the death cult and celestial war was. It seems pretty far ago, but it would be nice to have an actual "timeline".

    What about a census?

    Szucsclan
I think I'm at full member capacity, since last census I had 6, and Rhun would have absorbed some of Bomladoy's population (or members) when they collapsed.

I've been working on a school project all today and yesterday. I've been burning the edges of some paper to make it old, and my hands were burned ten or eleven times X.x

I did that once to make a document that had something to do with the Revolutionary War. I forget the details, but it was some sort of project on what a Revolutionary War time capsule would have in it.

Efforts are made to connect the long string of Qariri colonies as a kind of barrier to cut off other nation's colonies from Southern Africa. Meanwhile, roads are being constructed to link main Qarir with its outlying territories. They will not be very strong roads, but they will allow transport of troops and goods from place to place to pick up in speed and help deliver resources to and from the African colonies. Meanwhile, an expeditionary force is sent southwards to scout out more of the African West coast and claim it in the name of the Sultan. As all of this is going on, the hunt for gold continues which involves the passive, peaceful interrogation and bribery of several natives and the hiring of some very greedy prospectors.

One hundred and fifty Duneshifters are deployed Westwards as scouts and clandestine defenders. It would seem that tensions are growing in the West...

But an army couldn't. The Muslims in North Africa would of invaded West African kingdoms but couldn't cross the Sahara Desert.

With the Rhunic claim in the heart of Muscovite colonial areas, the Prince has decided it is an act of war. Rhun has 3 options. 1. Sell that colony to Muscovy, 2. Send no exports and get no exports in the colonies touching Muscovite controlled lands, 3. Discuss war.

    Shitty gold.
I would like you to note that the Bloodsworn stated their borders were completely closed, and there would be no possible way they could have learned about the discovery of steel and sent assassins before the discoverers were escorted to the palace. Therefore, it is reasonable to say that there is no possible way for an ambush to occur on the road, despite Rhun not knowing about these assassins.
Can you add the Gulag on that extremely fortified island I own in the north? And one Gulag on the farthest island out in the Atlantic I own in my African colonies?
Himalayas humbly ask Rhun for the secret to steel, so it can be recreated peacefully, without killin innocent life

The Loke-Khan is willing to share the secret under certain conditions, which he will announce soon.
Over the past few years, the Qarir population has grown, and thanks to THEIR soldier program, they have recruited around 5-10k people to join the military and population is still growing because of the people they are recruiting in Africa, humbly accepting them into Qarir's province.

Five hundred of these are trained as Duneshifters
Bloodsworn Blood-Seekers will carry no marks that they hail from Bloodsworn lands, for they were recruited from the far eastern border regions of the Bloodsworn, and look more like Shigori members than anything. They will do whatever is needed to carry out Ologor's Great Plan, including murder, bribery, sabotage, etc. They all carry orders written in the tongue of the Shigori, and will claim to come from the capital itself.

In addition, the Bloodsworn begin the creation of the largest library in the known world, which will be made on the neighboring peak of the Rock, called the Haven. It will be open to the citizens of the Bloodsworn, and will help spread literacy throughout the lands of the Bloodsworn.

The Bloodsworn militia program now is nearing completion, with a large, well trained citizen force now ready to be called upon for the defense of their lands. This, in addition to countless projects, will aid the Bloodsworn realm in staying the most heavily fortified realm in human history.

Ologor also calls for a monument of titanic size and strength to be built east of the Cult's old capital to honor the fallen of the Alliance. It is a massive man, with elements from the culture of each Alliance member, resting his foot on the decapitated head of a Cult's soldier. It will take a long time, but will be one of many monuments the Bloodsworn make to honor the fallen Bloodsworn and Alliance soldiers and to demonstrate the building skill of the North.

The Cult of the Isenblood now dominates the Bloodsworn nation, and has been made the official religion of the Bloodsworn. It is to be renamed during a massive ceremony at the end of the Time of Ending. Ologor is named the Master of the North by the Great Clans, securing their loyalty and ensuring that their lands enjoy a new age of prosperity. In response to this, Ologor will be creating a Council to help him rule his vast and uncharted lands, with each member being named a Blood-Lord

And lastly, Ologor annouces to the entire world that he will not take any more sides in any war, preferring to continue to make the Bloodsworn a greater nation. He wants all to be assured that not one soldier of the Bloodsworn shall march outside their borders, unless they are deployed to the newly discovered lands of the south.
For the love of god, when are we going to have the meeting? Jesus fucking christ.

Qarir sends the head-of-explorers for Muscovy a colonozing treaty that states they can have colonies east of Niger, but they dont want Muscovy to get anywhere near the southwestern coast. Qarir will also send builders and materials to help set up their colonies, and hope to get some gold trade from Muscovy in Africa.

After weeks and weeks of travel, the Qarirites found nothing but desert. When all hopes were almost lost, they discovered the Sahel, and lush, rich river valleys of the Congo, the Niger, and others. They began to set up a small colony, and sent messengers to the other nations telling of this great discovery.
