Upon receiving this message, the Sultan takes a long, thoughtful sip of tea before rising and walking away. The movement of mixed troops (excluding Duneshifters and Royal Guards) eastwards to Goa by boat continues. Meanwhile, at Goa, defenses continue being built and built upon. These defenses, in the form of trenches, foxholes (for archers and crossbowmen), and palisades meander out in all directions to merge with those of Muscovy. The actual fort at Goa is starting to take shape, but it would be most unfortunate indeed if it were to fall under attack ere it could be further built upon. For now, the fort can only serve as a barracks but the builders there will soon amend this. The Sultan sends a messenger to Shigori ([user]16191695[/user] @GamerAced) requesting trade. He also suggests that a small port for Qariri merchant-ships be built so that we may bring our goods to you and establish a place where goods from the West may be bought in the East. He also assures that any costs in making the port will be eclipsed by the profit produced by the business this brings.

Sadly, the port will be dwelling with guards, and will inspect everything. But we can trade.

Shigori signs the trade treaty under the terms that all ships shall be inspected thoroughly after the incident of Siberian assassins traveling by boat to Japan.

There is no evidence of them being Siberian, however, since they are smart enough to not use any insignia or weapons from Bloodsworn lands.
