Tbh i miss more the players then the actual server , daaamn its been a couple of months since it closed but it feels like it opened like a week ago. I got attached too much to the server should have known it would be gone so quickly .

On servers, you get different channels. There are two types of channel - voice channels and text channels. Voice channels are for talking/listening, and text channels are for sending messages.

You said you don't have permissions to chat in the channel: try clicking on '#general' on the left hand side and chatting there.
