When you have countries where people cant read, women are second class, people are starving and the dictators will not let you have the food from foreign aid, one man has almost all the money and power in the country, rival tribes, ethnic groups and protesters are slaughtered and massacred, women and children are enslaved raped and abused by insurgents, men have handfuls of wives and dozens of children they can’t feed, albinos are murdered and raped to ‘cure aids’ and gay people are given the death penalty, and you’re legacy is authoritarianism, autocracy, child marriage, child labor, polygamy, genital mutilation, insurgency, widespread poverty, widespread illiteracy, widespread religious extremism and terrorism, and a general disaster then yes, your country is a shithole. I’m so sorry if these words are too hurtful to bear. And no, we aren’t going to stop absorbing these populations to enrich our culture so cool off liberals.
