Humans are animals. We just used brains instead of brawn. If I were hungry, I have the ability to kill a man and eat him. But governments and human morals that have developed throughout the years say that this is murder. You are not given natural rights by birth. Biological survival is the basis of politics.

Who and what gives you your rights? You aren't entitled to them. The government gives you your rights. You aren't born with them.

The government doesn't give us our rights. They uphold our rights. And we most certainly are entitled to them. When a government fails to uphold those rights, we replace it. That's the reason the United States was created in the first place.
