There is a highly worrisome rumor going around the server that with the restrictions in place by EULA, and with the imminent sale of MC to microsoft, many players are saying that Tim will shut down the server. Is there any credibility to their statements? If so, Tim, dont be an idiot. If not, thank you for your amazing server, long may you defend her.
 
Hopefully it's just Tim just being down in the dumps, it must be hard to keep yourself sane with all the projects and tasks he has to do purely for our entertainment. Otherwise, he's genuinely worried about funding. In which case, if you are concerned (as we all are), then throw money at the poor sod! Or keep tight and cross your fingers that Microsoft don't screw Minecraft up and make you pay to even go to the toilet.
 
This will be a waiting game, basically. Microsoft will most likely give us, the players, a message welcoming us to Microsoft. Then, it will include a few new changes.
 
Most likely Microsoft will send out a warm and fuzzy welcome to Microsoft and WAPOW! We're paying to do anything on a game made where your supposed to do be able to do whatever the heck you want...
 
Seriously lay of his back. He is more likely to shut the server throught posts like these so just stop. I am with tim 100% if he does decide to close it for the right intentions but I would be against if it was the wrong ones. If you care about EW then you would stop talking about this and continue playing as you normally would as that will show tim that people like the server and I may not shut it now, personally from what tim told me directly I highly doubt that he will anytime soon.
 
Yeah, for any that don't have Tim as a friend, go to Users > Staff > Sjoerdtim and look on his wall. It is all there.

Im sorry... i heard these rumors and had a minor heart attack... I really dont want this server to shut down because it's so much fun, and it's one of the few that i've seen that has a great community that gives a crap.
