I have seen a lot of people getting mad at Prometheus, making hints or even saying outright that the way he got his staff membership was dishonorable.
For instance: From a source I am keeping anonymous:
"I doubt Prom is a pre=mod, since half a year ago he had this big episode where he left staff do to some huge misunderstandings."
I have seen this in many a server. Basically what it comes down to is jealousy and annoyance at the change.
From what I have seen when Prom is on, he is a very good mod. He asks people nicely to stop capping, spamming, swearing, etc.

I am all for Prometheus being mod.

I recognize that has DruMaster's comment. And to be honest, I don't think that's far off. Obviously, I think both sides said some things that were greatly inappropriate and childish. However, I will say that it wasn't a misunderstanding. I felt as though I was wronged and if anyone here actually knew the circumstances leading up to it, you'd think my actions were fair. I've personally forgiven all the staff members, and I can only hope they've forgiven me for my downright childish behaviour. Although, I would like to ask DruMaster to not make comments on things that go far deeper than he, or anyone else, realizes.

Concerning the thread now. This does mean quite a bit to me, thank you ThuBioNerd. And thank you everyone who is positive towards me being reinstated as moderator. I try to be reasonable, I try to help other be reasonable. If you've known me from the beginning I will rarely if ever make a false judgement on a mute, kick, or ban. Although, I do not appreciate the lack of respect for me, and the position, that I receive from certain players. [Lazee, Evakobold, Dimitri: if you have something to complain about, tell me. I feel safe in saying a mature discussion will benefit us all.]

Finally, let the corruption commence. *Hands out free by-pass ticket for mute*

I think it's just jealously. A lot of people would like to become Moderator themselves and if someone else got the rank, they start to act a little bit negative sometimes.
 
We wouldn't had modded Prometheus if he wasn't an excellent candidate. We needed a moderator at his timezone, and he's been very helpful even after he left staff.
Remember that we never kicked him out of the staff team, he left by himself.

He's always been helpful and I'm glad he could return.

The problem is, is I said clearly "I don't see enough evidence for Prom to be mod, all I've seen is people spamming 'Prom4Mod', and once I see good proof, I will respect you as a moderator."
Just to hear that once I left you were saying things along the lines of "Lazee was whining and raging that I'm gonna be mod, hes just jealous and is gonna cry about it."
 
And that is where I lost respect for you and honestly dont find you mod-worthy.

He did stuff before you joined, that's why he got remodded.

Persons who have been here around for a longer time know that Prometheus has been a moderator before, one of the few true veteran players who are still active on both forum and ingame and even helped people without his moderator rank.


And with all respect, just drop it now. You won't change anything, if you've a problem, just PM Prometheus, you guys are mature enough to fix it by yourselves.


Also, could an admin please lock this thread to avoid further discussions?
