According to an anonymous source beginning with Riku and ending in maru, there's a bug whereby you can be hit by more than one arrow at once.

It seems to only happen with archer - you can shoot someone and they gain no instantaneous damage immunity as should happen - as such, two projectiles can damage you at once.
 
This isn't related to our server. It is either a bug with Minecraft or Spigot, but there's nothing we can do about this.
