Easterling Class

A voter or point class for Mordor (Osgil,Minas)


Golden Helm ( maybe tecture it as Easterling Helm), Leather Chesplate (red), Gold Leggings, Leather Boots (red/black)


Golden Sword (sharp 3-4) 2 spears

Ik we already have Harad but i feel that we use the same classes over and over again for mordor without much variation
 
We are trying to keep it canon, and Easterling classes would therefore be made for the Rhovanion maps (Erebor, Dale, Laketown)
 
Dale and Erebor will most likely get some kind of Easterling classes.
 
Dr.Olex It says on the LOTR Wiki that "They appeared in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields and the Battle of Dale" So that means that they were at Minas Tirith and Maybe Osgil. So that means it would still be cannon

Our maps and battles are mainly based around the movies, it's only for battle which weren't in the movies where we have to follow the lore.
 
The movie could have included it in its spirit, just not show them off

Please no xD. Black Gate was so boring once you got done with capturing the gate. If you made the gate huge and made all the cap points in the gate itself though that could be fun.

Also the excuse that 'they are not in the movie' and 'we must keep it cannon' is not really a valid excuse, since you have Dol Amroth Knight (which isn't in the movie) and just added Vale Archer and Executioner (which both are not in the movie). Also Easterlings were in the movie, so even without my prior argument, it is still invalid to say that you guys can't add it because you are trying to keep it cannon.

Yeah, it was so boring. Therefore there is no point in reworking it... EQ site is still up if you want to see a screenshot.

We wont add troops with such a minor part/role in the battle.

Both Dol Amroth and Vale archers are gondorian teoops which would have been summoned to the frontlines in times of war. If we excluded all troops we didnt see in the movies, we wouldn't have much more than soldier and archer.
I personally see no point in replacing any of Mordors many classes for these troops which most players have never even heard of, Gonna ask other staff to give their opinion aswell though, as i alone is not in charge of anything.
 
are you just making excuses at this point now? easterlings were dangerous and strong soliders so that means they wouldnt be usuless. In the book it states that there were many easterlings at the battle of pelanor fields. So it stays cannon in both the movie and the book. "We wont add troops with such a minor part/role in the battle". That is a plain and obvious excuse no offense, but it was.None the less Eaterlings participated in the Batlle Of Minas Tirith
