Headset disaster (Need technical help)

Rite so I bought a quality headset today, and I can't get it to work..Turtle Beach Recon 50P

Okay so my problem is that the headset only has one plug to plug into a computer jack, yet there's a "Sound" and a "Mic" or whatever its called jack (Well theres 5 sockets to plug it into and each one does either of these two). Whenever I plug it into one, I get sound but my mic doesn't register as plugged in, and whenever I plug into the other, my mic registers as a microphone but without headphones so I can't hear.

The headset comes with a mic which slots into the side, which may be why it's not getting recognised as a headset. Anyone know how to help?
 
either install the needed drivers, or just buy a proper headset you poor bitch
 
Because it's fun see you react to people. It's just.. Amazing.. I was just wondering what question you had. Why are you even making threads anymore, anyways. It was kindof a joke, sadly you can't understand. I'll ignore your response and live my life as I DO have one.

Seriously, how many times are you going to tell is Adam has DDoS'd you? I think we all know by now.
