Helpers

Why..? Anyone can help, so there is no point in having people known as helpers. You don't have to have the rank to help others, you can do it out of your own free will.
 
Bart, anyone can help. You do not need a person known as a helper, as anyone can do it. If that's the case, make everyone who knows a lot about the server helpers. They help the people anyway, but sure why not give a tag. (That was sarcasm btw) And also, if there are no helpers on, who do you ask for help? Oh yeah, anyone.
 
Yet when Only said on my page that he needed helpers, and I had to contact tim, he said that only Admins and Mods could kick, so when I asked on how to get mod he said that I couldnt be one
 
This isn't about being Mods. And helpers shouldn't be able to kick or mute or ban, they're... helpers.. Not Mods or Admins.
 
Cough i mad a little mstake cough, i meant he is gonna look into the subject of more mods :)
 
Idk, but that's weird if he did. He can do it himself.. I don't think he was asking for more Mods, btw..
 
Helpers could tell players the rules. Thing like that. If the rules are unclear and there isn't a mod around, helpers could help them
 
That's what I wanna do everytime, I wanna have the ability to kick so I can not just warn and report
 
Sauronius. That's what the mods are for. You just report. There's no way around it, you have to report it for staff to deal with it, or, if there's a staff member on the server, then stay out of it and let them do their thing. Plus, Mike, you don't need people to have the tag 'helper' to help. ANYONE can help, as Aj said, you don't need someone specific to tell you what you want to know. If there's no one on the server to ask, then maybe ask on the forums?

It takes time and evidence to report someone, most mods are inactive right now. We need to face the fact that we are no longer a small 30+ person server anymore. We don't need more official mods. Helpers are a suitable solution as they can't ban people but can kick and give warnings out.
 
But Infamous, anyone can tell people what they're doing wrong, or warn them. Plus, Only and Titan are quite active, and so is Tim. And, it may take a bit of time for reporting hacks, yes, but not for things like spam or cursing or spawn killing.
 
This whole idea is stupid. Everyone who is a good member of the community should be answering these people's questions. That's how we build a better, welcoming community and gain more members, not by putting more, singular people in new positions of power over everyone else

Yeah. Once one person becomes a position of power, everyone will want it too, causing it to be a problem when its supposed to help people.
 
Beep, even this would not put them into power,it just gives them a tag saying helper... There is literally no point in this, as anyone can help without the tag.
