ok LISTEN UP
Universe you can't just take rivendell! Cookie is right, maybe others want it too, did you think about that?
Elrond is gone, Rivendell is abandoned. Perhaps elves will resettle it though and need a leader.
I support you Universe but we must consider everyone's opinions on who should rule such an important kingdom
this topic is closed for the time being,
LOCK THIS PLEASE we don't want further arguement

Actually beep your wrong as you said this is non canon
And this has been officially declared via all the correct things needed

Okay

I may have rushed a little bit. Let's start an election after the King of Dale has been appointed.

I say this to anyone who supports me: Cuio mae

Now I would request that one of the mods locks this.

Wait wait wait let me get this straight
The amazing ds_nine, who previously called me a dictator and asked my why I was declaring leaders, is saying that Universe can just declare himself king of Rivendell, one of the most beloved kingdoms in LOTR, without so much of an ok from anyone but himself (and ds I suppose)?!
I mean, I'm all for Universe being king, but because of people like you I've been trying to pull back on declaring kings on my own.
Plus, others have displayed interest in being king, namely KingJoseph, who 'should' have an equal chance at being king according to your previous statements.
We can do an election though, if you're still ok with democracy in place of authoritarianism

Rivendell doesn't have a King, it's not a nation, also, if Rivendell is abandoned and Elrond gone, so is Vilya.

Yes. That means Rivendell is no longer protected by it's power and thus Rivendell needs a strong leader to defend it from the remaining evil in Middle-Earth.

It doesn't need protecting. Since the owners left that place forever? So the new lord of Rivendell is just some elf coming along and claiming the land. Ok.
Anyways, all this king of land business is way below me in the chain of power.
