So I only played a couple of matches with the mage but I almost instantly found its flaws. The 5 second cooldown is good but the projectile is slow making it easy to dodge, can be hit by enemy's (was a quite common thing for them to do if they saw me), and if your trying to snipe, you need to find someone standing still for the 2-3 seconds after you shot it. Instead of having one fireball like a ghast that explodes, I think every 5 seconds they should get 3 smaller fireballs that travel faster but cant be hit back (like a blaze). I haven't played with the jump much so I wont suggest anything about that and the sharpness lvl on the staff I think is good (I almost always lost close up pvp, which is expected of a ranged character).
