What is that important stuff I am talking about?
Well, i have seen many posts and threads asking for new maps to be added. Right now the build team has around 4 finished maps that are not on the siege server.

Why are they not on the siege server?
There are already 11 maps there. 1 Game takes about an hour, which means that nearly every map is only played twice a day. If we add more maps the chance of you playing your favorite map will be lower or even nearly impossible.

What do I want you to do?
It's simple. You vote for the maps you DON'T like. This or these maps might be removed in the future and replaced by new maps.

Right now we already have many amazing maps and there are more to come. But we can't have them all here on siege, so the Admins kinda need some help to know which ones they can replace.

Well, Osgiliath: does have fun skirmishes and chases when the three bridges are taken; and probably will be better if Hent's idea gets implemented.
Minas Tirith: does get dull if you've been here long enough but nonetheless it's a core map so IMO - no.
Isengard: - well nobody really is crazy about it, you go kill farming as Ents or go get rekt as an uruk-hai archer (unless your mage) and doesn't really behold exciting aspects, so perhaps Isengard.
Minas Morgul: Well, it's a balanced map and is rather fun as Gondor normally progress through the map with some Mordor resistance and it all folds at tower, whether Mordor hold it or not.
Moria Gold: It's an alright map I suppose, quick battles and teamwork to an extent patrolling and securing the paths of the gold robbers.
Moria Halls: I'd like to see some flags possibly removed and 'somehow' shortened with rather the first flags being the base of the map, as I remember the rush to the Delving as Goblins or defending it as Dwarves, with many other essential battles occuring throughout the map being far more fun than the current battles.
Erebor: As a whole; it has become better for battles, with the addition of actual effort of taking flags, I'd be quite sad to lose this regardless of our point farmer machine being dumped
Lake-town: Fun enough, especially in AUSIA times as both teams are more equal (as there isn't that many swordmasters online) and contains challenging but consistent skirmishes.
Black-gate: Fun enough if the entire game stalls at the gate, could be removed if necessary but I'd rather see Moria Gold or Isengard go before this map leaves us.
Edoras: It's an average enough map - it can easily get boring though as Rohan simply defends the hall for most of the game
Helms Deep: There'd be a civil war if this was removed :/
 
Whoever gets voted for Osgiliath being a horrible map will get a club over the head and will be thrown into a canal with a rock chained to every limb.
 
Isengard needs to be removed.

First off, it's unbalance as shit! Even mages can do little to stop the massacre of the Uruk-Hai!

Second, the only people that have fun on it are the Ents who get countless points, are unstoppable, and can spawn kill without getting banned, seriously, when was the last time someone spawn killing as an Ent got banned, I've even seen Only_God do it!?

Third, it's an easy win for the Ents, you can spawn kill without punishment, easily killing off the Uruk-Hai, if they get in the tower, they can camp with rocks and kill 20 Uruk-Hai each, before the Uruk-Hais manage to get control of the tower again, once the dam part starts, if they get to the top of the mountain, they can easily stop Uruk-Hai that are climbing the mountain to kill them and throw rocks down to destroy the dam, which doesn't take long since the dam health is now down to 50, thanks Tim.

Fourth, the spawns are poorly design allowing for spawn killing to the point of staff saying, they can't do anything and not ban anyone!

Fifth, at least 1/5 of the people that are online when isengard is played just do nothing, but spam click the Ents sign, hoping to get on the Ents.

Sixth, it's almost universally hated by the community.

And seventh, the only fun part about it, which was the pub in the river Isen behind the dam, is now closed!

That is why it should be removed!

It doesnt need to be removed.

its not unbalanced, and what do you mean that mages cant stop the massacre of the "Uruk-Hai"? They are on the same team.

I see that the ents win about half of the games and Uruk-Hai win Another half of the games. They are NOT unbalanced in winning.

I dont hate it, its my fav map.

My conclusion about isengard is that ents are bad, I can easily kill ents as mage, I just find it funny to kill all the ents, its like an achievment and I find it really funny, especially when I get higher mvp score than the ent's mvp. The map is challenging allright, but its still fun.

I dont even know if i can vote on this... And im afraid votes is the reason some maps get played like 4 times every day.
 
Edoras is uhm, sucky.
1. Its always the same, 100%. Uruks cap flags till the hall and game gets stuck.
2. Super bad class that cost points and is barely (once a week) used. Im talking about warg rider.....
3. Its never played, meaning its removable.
 
If a map would have to be removed, it would be Isengard.


However, there is another option. We should make more smaller, fast-paced maps. Not only are they more fun and exciting because a lot more happens, they are also great when there are few players online.
 
I feel Kinda like fj, Edoras has like no classes, the same happens Almost every time and its not that fun.
 
Just saying, the server is already over the limit with maps, with optimal being 10 maps. Tim will squish 1 map more and then, if you want new maps, some of the maps must be removed. This is what Tim told I think 2 days ago... or yesterday.
 
Isengard, Morgul, Laketown, Edoras. My picks.

Isengard: Even though I have my own ways in getting into the ent army, it's a point grinder.

Morgul: Gates get capped with ease, that second flag that no one remembers gets usually capped very fast, nobody gives a crap about the third flag and the fourth flag is either taken right away or is kept until all the orcs die.

Laketown: Didn't like it since the start. Very easy to get lost in it, lags me to heavens high, nobody ever follows eachother and then the class problem.

Edoras: Got scammed on buying warg rider e.e Also the archer spam and the last flag.

Overall, I still don't want these maps removed as I got warg rider on Edoras and removing Edoras will make me permanently lose my money for nothing. Now I at least have a shitty class with it. I say store them somewhere and people will be able to play this reject maps. DK how else to say it.
 
What about Beta testing the maps??? So we dont replace a old map with a even worse one?
