My honest opinion about the tested payload map

*Sigh* Whatever.
We started building a map ages ago on build but gave up on the project pretty quickly, it resurfaced quite recently when Tim decided to try again.

We really need a good name for this map, other than "Moria Payload". If you have suggestions, please go ahead and suggest them. The more ideas the better.

"Mines of moria" ??[/quote]

Too similar to the other moria map (which atm is called Halls of Moria)

Khazad-dûm
Moria
Durin’s Mine
Mines of Moria
Halls of Moria
Dwarrowdelf

some name ideas for moria maps in general. my personal: Moria (normal map), Durin’s Mine (payload), and Caverns of Moria (gold)

Goblin Ambush
Goblin attack of Mines
Goblin siege of Mines of Moria

Or call this one Moria gold and call old moria gold "Goblin Heist"

Tunnels of Moria
Moria shafts (or mineshafts)
MoriaCart (oops looks like I switched "o" and "a")
Gold on the Road
Gold rush
Mining Moria
Golden Tunnels
Golden Moria Mines
Under the Misty Mountains
Great Mines

The past days I've had the map named as Goblin Ambush.
The reason I don't want to include Moria in the map name is to prevent confusion, but something like Great Mines wouldn't work because the name has no connection to Middle-Earth so people might think it's not a LOTR/Hobbit map.

My bad, i thought u wanted names with no connection to moria
The misty mountain's gold
The treasure of the dwarves

"Goblin Ambush" is a mediocre name, that has little reference to Lord of the Rings.

The fact is, we now have 3 Moria maps, two of which are in rotation. Moria Gold is fine, we just need to decide on the other.

So classically our main Moria map has been called "Moria Great Halls". I quite like that, though I think Tim believe's it's too much of a mouthful. Moria Halls will do in that case.

I like M4's suggestions, they are good LOTR related names, but don't allow much confusion.

>Khazad-dûm makes sense, it is what Moria was called before the Balrog awoke, which is when I assume this is set. In fact, I think it'd be cool if this map were set as the Dwarves were fleeing from Moria, trying to bring all their gold with them.

>Durin’s Mine is okay, though is my least favourite of these suggestions.

>Dwarrowdelf I like too, but I feel it should have some adjective attached to it.
