Nazgul Guide
I’ve been asked by a few people for Nazgul tips, and I also thought there should be a Nazgul Guide…so here it is!

-Grabbing -
Techniques
I find that the best technique of grabbing is easy but effective, as Nazgul fly about 50 blocks above the Gondorians so no arrows or fireballs can hit, (if you want a higher killstreak then you can stay about 25 blocks in the air but it is riskier and occasionally you will get hit by an arrow) and use Optifine zoom to see what class everyone is and who (if anyone) is focusing on killing you. After checking find an easy kill, then release fly mode and swoop down, picking him up easily. If this is done correctly you can easily get 150+ kill streak per map as Nazgul.

It is also hard if there is a lot or barely any people on. The more people on means the more people will target you, however more kills and if there's barely anyone on you will get targetted by less but they will be aware where you are and you will get less kills. The best time to use it is when there's about 20-25 on the other team.

Also use scream whenever its possible, the best time to use it is when you’re on 1 or 2 hearts and then dive in on an archer/constructor to gain your health back.

Who to grab –
Archer – Grab these whenever as long as they aren’t in a melee fight or surrounded by teammates, you should be alright grabbing 1 who is trying to kill you because they won’t do much damage. This also includes Ithilien archer.

Soldier – If you’re skilled in melee then follow the same rules as archer. Otherwise only grab these when they’re going somewhere and have no idea where you are.

Spearman – Depends how good the spearman are, if they’ve just throw their spears then they’re basically the same as soldier for 10 seconds. Just make sure you don’t get hit by a spear, it will do possibly kill you if you’re below 5 hearts.

Constructor - Same rules as archer, yet they’re a lot easier to kill and will do less damage to you.

Mage – After grabbing a mage their fireballs will do about half a heart to you, many Nazguls don’t pick mages up but follow the same rules as Archer, if they see you, then swoop down anyways because there’s a large chance their fireball will miss. If you pick a mage up after they have used flamethrower then you should be fine, it will only do about half a heart per fireball. Never pick a mage up if you're certain they have an ender pearl - you will not get the kill and lose health trying.

Citadel Guard/Ith Soldier – Just avoid these, there’s not many of them anyway. If you really want to go for them make sure you are skilled with nazgul and that they have no idea you’re there.

Lossarnach - Never try to pick these up, if critical hitting they can 2 shot you.

Tips and Tricks

Never attack anyone who is in a melee fight with another person and never try and pick someone up if they’re within a 2 blocks of someone who could do serious damage to you e.g Lossarnach or Citadel Guard.

Beware of targetters, it’s quite easy to stay away from them in the sky but when you try and grab someone these people will always attack you and try to ruin your kill streak, if someone below you has been trying to kill you all game and is aware of you, don’t go for them because they will probably kill you.

If you want the safest Nazgul run then do it on Minas Tirith, this is the only map where people can’t hit you just after you drop them. This map also has a lot of high drops where lots of archers camp, pick 1 up then go over the walls, (it will waste time going in the sky) if you do this then there is a large chance you will get kills 25% faster and more frequent that if you go high in the sky to drop them.

-The Sword-

There’s not really much to say about this. Only use the sword for the knockback purpose, otherwise you will get screwed over.

Times to use the sword –
Minas Tirith – Use when people are on the block looking over the walls, so you can knock them down and kill them in 1 hit. This can be used at all levels.
Osgiliath – Use if people are on the bridge 1 block away from the water or on the roof of high buildings; can’t really explain this but it’s obvious if you can hit someone off with 1 hit so decide for yourself.
Minas Morgul – Not very useful on this map, only use against Gondorians on the top of the main tower and on the edge of it, not in crowds.

Who to use the sword against –

Use it against Constructors, Archers, Soldiers, Mages.

Don’t use it against Lossarnach, Ithilien Soldier, Citadel Guard because if they hit you when they fall they will do a lot of damage which is probably more than the 2 hearts you will gain from killing them.

-Killstreaks-
If you follow these rules then there’s a high chance you will get 100+ kill streaks whenever you use Nazgul. If you want to increase these to 200 or more then make sure you follow them exactly, they have helped me increase my Nazgul playstyle a lot and hopefully if you follow them the same will happen for you.

If you aren't great at using Nazgul then you could always just hover over the enemy whilst your team captures a flag, a lot of people will target Nazguls just because they want the kill. This is a great way to distract half a team if you show yourself to all the enemy.

One last ruleNever try and kill TheEnder_Slayer_ because you will fail miserably and die.

I would personally like to thank adam for this useful and insightful guide because tbh i suck at naz. I will try to follow these tips as best i can.

This class doesn't need a guide its far to easy. If you need a guide to use the class then you shouldn't have it in the first place.

There are a few flaws in the guide. If you use just the fly up 50 blocks, drop done and pick up people tactic, it's impossible to get 150+ kills in a single game. To get that many kills you have to be far more proactive. Lone archers shooting at you, yes. Groups of archers shooting at you, if your skilled, perfectly fine. NEVER touch any melee class that is trying to kill you. It will not go well for you, even if you do manage to kill them. With mages, if you know that you can 100% get the mage before it can hit you with a fireball, go ahead, if not then leave it alone. Avoid people in combat, and people who are squashing ants. Avoid anyone who knows how to kill a Nazgul. Them walking along peacefully might just be a trap to get you to dive. Use the sword only to knock people off, but you can use it against any class. When used right, most people can't react fast enough to hit you when they are falling. Another note: Killstreaks with Nazgul solely depend on the number of people on. With more people on there are more people not paying attention to you, which means lots of easy kills. However, more people also means more people targeting you, so never let your guard down.

If you want to contribute to your team as Nazgul, you can distract your enemies. This also works if there is that one targeter that you want to getd rid of. A noob group of swordsmen can easily get decimated by a orc or two if they're are staring straight at you.

Okay, I agree with the 50 blocks thing, however it does help to stay higher because less people can see and hit you.

However, if there's a soldier trying to kill me I will usually dive down (the higher you dive from the better) as they will find it hard to hit you if you dive fast enough and it only takes 1 hit to kill them.

Depends on the soldier. If they are attacking like crazy and moving about, it's best not to go for them. If you miss the first grab, you could take serious damage. If it's some noob that's not moving, then you'll take less damage.
