1) /suide costs x amounts of points per use for non-donors. (But enough to encourage a 5 Euro donation to avoid it.)
2) Spectator mode requires points for use - lets say you have to pay x amount of points for when you go into spectator mode (for non-donors, of course).
3) Higher classes (naz/rog) cost points per life... so every time you choose naz it deducts (a fair few) points from you.
oh forgot another idea, upgrade your rank with 1000000 points
dude, I don't think anyone on EW has even gotten CLOSE to 1 million points... Riku is probably highest with 300000 pts, basically worthless to add a rank upgrade for that huge amount of points
well then you didn't read entirely:
oh forgot another idea, upgrade your rank with 1000000 points that would may be make people playing more on EW and spend points, you can change the amount. I don't know what would make it good.
For spending points, maybe give all classes like an item that would open an inventory interface that functions as shop, making you able to permanently unlock certain boosts for all classes.

This could include stuff that would be useful for all classes; 1-3 extra porkchops, unbreaking weapon, X extra ladders. Or it could include special stuff like small temp buffs that they can activate once or twice per life, for example: on troll u can buy some sugar, that gives you "rage" when u consume it, giving you like a little extra strength or speed for 10-20 seconds.

For porkchops or ladders, people could spend like 1k points for 1 extra pork on the class, then another 1k for another extra pork, but they have to buy extra pork individually on each class they want to upgrade.
This would require for so many new variables and checks per class that it'd over complicate far too much of the server and increase lag too much. I don't think this would be a good solution because of that.
There is no way to limit the amount of lag caused by extra variables?
How do other servers have similar functions then?

Bigger servers, different systems, etc.
Keep in mind the server has over 30 different classes. For a server like AOW this system would work because there (right now) are only 6 classes and they're on each map, but the amount of different purchases would just be too big and complicated on EW.

1) is actually quite a good one, because people who get stuck will still be able to get out.
Not a big fan of 2) because it'd take away reason to donate.
I really like 3), wonder who gave you that idea :3

Well I came up with the idea of point classes that last a limited amount of time.... and you elaborated on it :)

So the amount of classes adds variables, then what if the same bonusses would be available for all classes, and one purchase would permanently upgrade all classes to get something extra? Or would this be too hard to balance?

Doable, but what, other than food/ladders, is a useful addition for all classes?

Well, it can still have small buff thingies that are more useful on some classes than on others, like the example I gave: Some consumable sugar or something that gives speed 2 for like 10 seconds, permanent health increase, some other buff items, some item that makes you "leap" forward, things like that.
Things that are unfitting or op for some classes could be disabled (for example the leap thing with trolls)

I say for the donor classes have it to where they get these like "special" points and they can only spend those on the donor classes available to that specific donor rank. Like call the points for that mithril or something.....

For extra points, I would say either make some new point classes (for the maps that don't have a lot of classes to the others) and add more stuff to the point shop.

did you even read the thread?
1) theres no need for more point classes, there is plenty of them
2) we're trying to find a replacement for the point shop, removing it entirely

Still doesn't solve the "nowhere to spend points on" problem.
Well, Maybe add more point classes....
We already have plenty of classes on most maps.
Moria Gold needs an Orc point class
Edoras needs a Rohan donor class
Minas Morgul needs a Gondor point class
In combination with 3 new classes, the new orc heads for points, and possibly a way to make donor classes accessible to the non ranked would make this a complete update.

Ladderer doesn't count. Us combat oriented folk need a point class for combat.

Ladderer>Nazgul

i don't disagree beserker but you have to remember not everyone is as good with the ladderer class like you or me or any veteran of EW rather they be donor or not

Twg, no, that is completely false. You can get a 700+ killstreak with nazgul, so don't ever say you agree with that statement, please. You are entitled to your opinion but saying a leather/iron armor class with wood and a stone sword is better than a class that can FLY with iron armor, can pick people up, has a kb weapon, and can blind/slow the enemy on a cooldown. Even after nerf riku still got a 400 killstreak with it.

Ladders M4 learn to use 'em.

Could add more shop perks such as punch/knock back or unbreaking on any weapon not just troll axe.

More points could subsequently be sent upgrading these perks (like upto unbreaking 3) but for a limited time and limited boost so points have to continually be spent.
