Mojang is smart enough to realize how much damage this causes, if they actually did this research the only reason they do this would be something else. (Maybe make them buy realms or make Minecraft lose popularity so they can move on to a different game.)

The last 3 small servers i have been on have shut down, and all the players act as if it is their "doom" or something like that. They are just to sad to even think about the idea of ignoring the EULA.
I think that for some servers donors get a ton of OP stuff, so it may not be fun to play. But seriously! There is like a ton of minecraft servers! If you dont like one becuase of the OP donors then leave! Empire war's donor kits are not even OP. And it happens that Realms came out just as they inforced this rule. Realms was a complete fail and the now are taking down multiplayer by shutting down all the servers. If mojang is stupid enough to realize that they just ruined their game and not do a thing about it, its totally their fault.
Also, the people who still want to play with other people would be forced to realms, which they might make like multiplayer.
I hope that mojang gets off their crack and listens to all the small servers get destroyed and the amount of people disagreeing with this topic.

I think that if you make ALL the ranks more affordable for everyone its allowed under the EULA

I'm just gonna say it. A majority of the people fighting against Mojang not only have no understanding of the law, but no understanding of logic. They're saying how evil and stupid Mojang is for this, but they're the only ones being stupid.
Mojang had a rule from DAY ONE, and has been generous enough to let servers slide by without being punished, but gave up and started enforcing a rule they always had. If you call them evil for not wanting people profiting off of their game, then obviously you're dumb.
