The server's future looks grim. And I mean really grim. And I've decided that we also should share a few things about our selves here.

I'll start. I joined the server in the April of 2012. My first time on the server I got a killstreak of like 5, then died and rage quit.

Best Memory of RP: Battling the evils of the server sent forth by Only God!


Best Memory in General: Of me playing with all of you guys and making great new friendships that should have lasted a life time.

Favorite Member of the community: Either Tibbels, Everybody13, or ThuBioNerd
 
First Time: Minas Trinith, Third Gate. About 1-2 years ago. Killed 7 guys as troll. This was also my first multi-player server.
Best memory: War of the 12 ((Gotta love OP RPing on the forums. )) , or Pelenor.
Favorite Member: Tibbles, Lockrules, or Beep.
 
My first time was probably isengard almost a year ago. I raged cause I was noob and got killed atleast 30 times by ents.
My best memory was figuring out that Mage could do the jump when hitting the ground with their staff. I sniped so many people from the tops of buildings. :D
My favorite person who plays on the server is probably a really good friend of mine by the name of Aaronck. Best friends, know each other in real life. But my other favorite player is probably BuckytheBlade :)
 
Ithe, how did you join in April 2012 if the server started on November 11 2012? O_o do you just mean EW in general?

And anyway, my first time on the server was on the really small Helm's Deep. Man, gotta love that map. Wizards could mage jump up onto the wall it was so small. xD And you could climb up the rocks onto the wall... Ah.. Good times.

My best memory of RP... Well, it's gotta be the demon attacks, I remember everyone wanted me dead because I was apparently in the 'siege' of Cair Andros, but I was still loyal enough to help defend the city, with only Everybody13 backing me up against his men. xD

My best general memory is probably the first birthday of the siege server. It was great, a lot of events, a heck of a lot of fun. Loved it all.

My favourite people... Hmmm, this is a hard one. I've met so many great people since I joined and they helped me feel happy when I joined, even when I had literally just entered the server, but I would say one of the greatest people would be Titan_Kronos. :) I also remember Iwasnumber4, he was a lot of fun too, and also there is CorruptWombat, CptBlockbeard, Lotrloz, and a whole bunch of others I can't really choose from, but those have been the people I have gotten closest to, but there is one I did not forget about, and his name is H_hents123, also known as Henri ;) It wasn't long ago until I was friends with him, maybe only a few months, but he's been great through out it all, and by gosh, I want all the snow from his country in my own. XD

First time on the server: (when, and what did you do): December 2012, played a little while, got about 250 points, then got bored and got addicted to another server.

Best memory of RP: (if you were there): There were so many, Demon wars of course, building up Cair Andros, wars with Ilthilien, exploring.

Best memory in general: All best memories are from RP, mostly the demon wars.

Favorite Member of the Community: Jack, Leon, Anrza , polar, cookie, prom, only, tonino, cpt, everybody, umm, I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of names here.

Note for ithewinner : if I'm correct there was no siege back in April 2012 :/

And we became friends like after RP closed, we mocked Tim's skin :P
And no snow for you! I need that, it's no winter without drowning in to snow.

Best Memory: It was when i killed Weby/Evako in the last flag of tirith, they fall right after the other

Well, I might as well fill this out, even though I'm not as active. To start, I joined around Feburary, actually joined the website in March.

First time on server: I was on Minias Morgul as an archer. Frankly, I had no idea what I was doing and probably spent more time shooting at my teammates than the actual enemies. I did have fun shooting people off the flags though, even if I still had no clue what I was even doing...
Best Memory in General: This is a tie between two. One was when me, cool, Pwner, and Apex went off to explore a deserted temple in the mountain on Gondor. We got lost, talked about some split soul demon thing that was hunting us and just all around had a good time. I started typing something about it, but never finished. Another time was when beep, me and a few others headed off outside the map on Gondor and ended up at a McDonalds. Always interesting, those experiences.

Anyways, my favorite members of the community? Dim and Pwner have been my main friends, but it was always fun to hang out with beep in small doses. Notice how I said small doses, he's been very stubborn in annoying me... Not to mention Only, who's been annoying as well, but fun. Always conspiring against me, but fun. Anyways, just some friends I've made, shame I can't get on as much anymore because of school.
 
June 2012 on my brothers account, a bit later I got my own account and played on it. It was the first pvp server I'd ever played on, and the one I've learnt all my skills on. I don't remember what exactly I was doing, but the only thing going through my head was "Woah. This is huge. Wow. These builds are the greatest." And so on and so on.

When I went on the rp server, I somehow managed to never come across a single person. I was so lonely. I was really sad when it got closed. It's the only rp server I've ever played on.

Playing all the maps, thinking that they were all far better than I could ever make. Now that I have Nazgul, sometimes when people are really ragey, I take a break and go explore. The detail put into every map is amazing. Too this day, I'm still finding new cool things on all the maps. Little easter eggs here and there. Things that I'd never have thought would work for a building, but ending up being perfect. My favourite pvp related thing though. First gate Helms Deep. I was on Rohan as a soldier. I'd bought strength buff, and I was the only one on my side. That's when I'd got my highest killstreak of the time of 30 kills. I was just amazed at how I could just keep going and going. Finally an Olog hai combined with a amage took me out. Never beat the killstreak for a long time.

There are a whole ton of people in the community, and I'd have to list most of them to make my list. Red, cool, twgx, uruk, ender, tom. Out of all the mods, Titan was probably my favourite. Out of all the server I've ever played on, this one has the best community. Yes, the chat is often filled with ragey noobs complaining about things they don't know or understand. But this server is by far my favourite, in all aspects.

First time on the server

Basically - holy shit. How long has it been? So many forsaken years (3/4? I can't tell anymore) of silly hi jinks and shenanigans, awesome tales of glory and awkward moments of... awkwardness. I first joined, in the old ages lost to time, and commenced screaming at my monitor as I was routinely and incessantly killed by extremely over-powered mobs. The good days of impossibly strong skeletons... luckily a found a hill. Which leads me to:

Best memory of role-play

I don't suspect anyone here will remember, but a few original members might. After finally calming down enough to walk around the forests of Empire War Role-play (The original, original, original - but not the original, original, original, original as I've heard (it gets funky!)) I discovered a good friend from another server dubbed "Goalieguy13." We then proceeded to build like bats out of hell on a major high in order to stop the mobs from killing us over and over again. This was in the time that a skeleton took you out with, if lucky, two shots (don't even get me started on the creepers.) We built a mini fortress on a hill, where we made a pond and tiny farm inside it (farm was typically blown up after every night) and hoped and prayed that we would last the night. It was in those days that I really enjoyed myself and silliness of it all.

Does leaving count? Well, I never can leave because some players always spam me with messages to come back. >.>

Aside from that, I'd definitely have to go with all the times I had a new player cuss and insult me. It was in the early days that I forged the ban hammer. I carried it for many an age, and only recently has it been passed on to Everybody (the player.) The "forging" of the hammer on the siege server a couple of years ago was great fun as I believe I nearly pissed myself laughing along with a few other veterans as we "role-played" the making of it. Must have been a three hour long forging, and this was back in the day when Empire War had maybe thirty people on at maximum. No one but possibly six of us had any idea what was happening. It took me only half an hour after "forging" the ban hammer to ban someone. Good times.

Oh, and I suppose meeting all the friendly fellows and annoyingly hilarious chaps through the years on the server.

Favourite member of the community

This is tough. I've made so many friends on here that have, and still do, continue to impress me and continue to have my complete admiration and respect. Cookie, longest Minecraft friend I have, is probably my favourite. Although, I sometimes miss whats-his-face: Epicpinguin? He was bizarre, but could never fail to give us all a laugh. To anyone who is a true veteran of Empire War, or who is been part of the community longer than myself, you're all great in my books - aside from select staff. I question my own judgement there, unfortunately.

In more recent memories, I've met some swell players that I still maintain good contact with. InfamousGerman and Everybody - great fun to talk to about anything (check out our "Banter Brothers: the Sheep that Never Sleep" series coming out this fall!) and some of my favourite members. Lem, ithewinner, cptblockbeard, anzra, MD, monarch, Hents, polarnik, and to an extend: Akam - are all players that I still like to chat with every so often, regardless of topic (or some I still haven't lost any respect for.)

All in all, I've had a bumpy ride. I've always held the community itself as the paramount and most influential factor in any decisions I've made. To all those who have been on this crazy roller-coaster ride with me, thank you! To those who I forgot to mention: sorry about that, but we obviously need to build some fond memories together, and I'm always on Skype for a chat. If you want to hear more stories about the old Empire War server, I'd be happy to oblige.

The first time on the server was when I was on my friends account, playing mage on the 4th level gate of minas tirith. I was like "wow this is so cool I can shoot fire balls but where the hell am I? Then I later played minas morgul, (a map switch I think) and killed a nazgul as a soldier. I was thinking "If I focus on the ender dragon I can kill it!" Later in the game I played spearmen but I sucked.

My best memory was on helms deep with 40 players. I remember before crossbowmen and pikeman sharpness 2, and with elven lord it was a "fair game." not really, this was when strength boost was still there. Fighting side by side with the staff and my friends, we held the first level the whole entire game and outnumbered the orcs before the Rohirrim came. I had many 15+ killstreaks that game. Some players I remember where arlathen (he was a troll I think) only_god sjoerdtim luke_pyle and a few other donors. (if I forgot you msg me)

Favorite Member of the Community: I really dont have 1 favorite member of the community, I like some people in different ways. But a few people I would rank at the top are: Titan_Kronos_ (He has a good heart, trustworthy, and a nice friend to have.) luke_pyle (even when I was a noob, he treated me with respect. He is possibly the most well behaved member of the community) and agencolar (I still remember the time I hated him, and spammed "NOOB TROLL ALERT!" He is a fun guy and online most of the time so I can play with him :thumb:) Some other people I like but not as much as these people are: RedextremeXD, cool_col, julianroma, zakrom, and Leo

I also remember very well the time I killed tim (the first time) and I was so happy!
 
*flashback 20 years from now* hmmm remember that time everybody hate you on that one server cause you were the worst nub ever? Wonder what happened to all of them :thumb:

Hmm well i guess i have a lot of good memories but one is when i got whitelisted on build :D thx python. Also when tim showed me the hub and Erebor before put in it on the server :D

Can't you use a bike?

I remember that I came in minas tirith when I joined the first time. I became an orc and ran in circles around the main gate to see all epic things like the gondor archers, nazgul and the city itself ofcourse.
I couldn't stop playing because it was so much fun. I ended up with a kd of -3 after one week.

First time on server: Moria 2 (not gold). Did not know how to spawn. Was stuck in goblin spawn for five minutes until someone told me how to get into the battle.

Best memory of RP: Wasn't there for RP, I joined 18 January 2014.

Best memory in general: Hmm... Ahh yes, twas the time of the uruks hacking down the villagers in the keep of Helms Deep. Those were the days.

Favorite member of the community: It would have to be either my brother Sauron28 or Sauronius (not my brother) (two Saurons LOL).
 
Guys, the story doesnt end here, you have a vast unsure future behead of you where YOU AND YOU ALONE can decide what to do with it
