Well, before this gets locked, I'd like to share my story. I've only been here for a bit, but I think that I've become a well-liked community man.
Also, I don't think that the server looks too grim, especially if folks like you and me help light up the way.

"That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo.... and it's worth fighting for."
Perfectly describes my feelings about the server.
First time on the server: About a month ago, joined during a Minas Morgul game (not even close to my favorite map), became a Gondorian archer, rekt a bunch of scrubs for a life, but then was unable to spawn, unknowing that all I had to do was hit the wool. Asked around, then continued to smash until we won by capping.
Best memory of RP: Nope.
Best memory in general: Finally buying my first point class, elven archer, and smashing uruk scrubs, getting my first ever MVP.
Favorite member of the community: "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve"
Hard to decide on this one, almost every member of the community is near and dear to me.
EnderNicky, the snazzy nazzy, is quite the guy. Always has a moment, always in for a bit of fun, and always has a penny to spare when in need.
OnlyGod, my nemesis, has been duking it out with me from the start. A few days ago, we were both mages and had a duel of epic proportions at Minas Tirith, resulting in my narrow victory using a flamethrower. We're on good terms, though, and he is a great guy with amazing building skill.
Sjoertim, founder and owner of this great server, is a mellow, yet serious guy. He always has an ear out for the community, and brings appropriate justice to those who need it done upon them. I'm sure that it takes a lot to run this server.
That's not the entire list, either. All of you guys are good players. Those, however, are my fondest memories of the server so far. Many more are sure to come, however.

Uh... I don't remember much from my first game. The map was moria gold, though. And being the noob I am I decided, hey, let's check out those railroads. People started shooting me, so I ran back and forth the whole game till I was finally shot off. The end.
All I remember of my first few games is Minas Tirith, I loved annoying everyone by recapping 
But I will always remember how stupid I must have sounded shouting "TP US, TP!!"

I got on and almost instantly got a fight with Tibbles on whether I had copied his skin or not.
The first siege map I played was helms deep...
It was really great being a mage shooting 2 fireballs at once that did like no damage on direct hit... (you had to shoot under them, so falldamage would kill them ^^ )
And then hearing Tim complain he couldn't get the mage healthpotions to stack... (he seems to have given up on that idea...)

My first map was Miwas Moegul. I was a mage, and a friend gave me pts to buy flamethrower, i got my derrier handed to me (it was pretty much my first time doing MP) and I decided to get better.
First time on the server: The first time on the server was around may 1st-20th, couldn't remember exactly. I was so desperate to find a lord of the rings server, surfing the web just to find the perfect one. The first one I came across was nothing like Empire War, although it was a siege server, with terrible donation prices. I bet some of you know it, but I forgot its name. Any who, there was someone on there one day advertising this server called Empire War, real LORD OF THE RINGS SEIGE. Well, I went on it, donated to it, and it became my favorite server

Best memory in general: Being part of the community itself, chatting with people, making friends, and killing people and just playing siege.Favorite Member of the Community: I have many favorites, and my first is Wacko. I admired wacko because he helped on build, and was a great nazgul. The second is agencolar, whom i've known for a while on the server, and he is pretty cool. Next is twgxslugger, who even showed me other servers, and we played on empirewar together.
