On this thread, it shows Bubb clearly bug abusing, which everybody said "wasn't enough proof." I know the staff as a whole is always right, but to just rack up points and kills with easy and cheap bug abuse for half an hour, and then not get punished shocked me. The empire war staff are a group of logical people who are hand choosen by the owner to help command a popular server, and this is not one of the decisions I would expect from one of them.

Bug abuse, hacking, or ANY in game advantage using a modified client or any bugs similar to their effects is punishable, and if you click "rules" it clearly shows that. Saying that he did not know that hacking or bug abuse was punishable is NOT AN EXCUSE, since it was his fault for being ignorant and not reading the rules before putting in 25 euros to a server.

All in all, I could bug abuse or hack for 30 minutes plus, say that I didn't know it was hacks, and have no punishment? There is something seriously wrong here, because that is what happened only a couple minutes ago.

I appriciate the staff's efforts to treat all of our needs, but that "punishment" for such actions is not very logical.
 
The rules quite clearly say abusing a bug will be punished, hacked client would be banned immediately....
I wonder why a person like bubba, who was clearly abusing a bug, or using a hacked client, and saying that it was an excuse (as seen in Python's video), would not get banned, and I want a clear explanation...

The rules that state bugging/hacking is bannable:
8. Do not, under any circumstances, abuse a bug that you may find. Report it to the staff if you believe there to be one - if we find out about it and catch you abusing it, punishment will be in order.
9. Any client modification that is designed to give you an advantage over other players is STRICTLY forbidden! If you are caught with a hacked client, you will be banned immediately. It is up to the staff to decide what constitutes an unfair advantage. Ask if you are unsure. Note: Minimaps are allowed, as long as radar is turned off. Optifine, MCPatcher and Shaders are also allowed, as those do not give players a large advantage.
 
I think this needs to be looked at again, its ridiculous that he gets away with this.. yes it isn't that bad for what it was "bug abuse" but the overall disrespect for others and the server was stupid saying how he only finds abusing bugs fun and that the server sucks. He was being so childish and i wish the staff just looked at the first rule on the server which is of course

1. Always respect others.

There was no respect in what he was doing and i find it so frustrating that a member of staff joined, without knowing fully what happened and protects the person that is so obviously in the wrong.... plz relook at this.

p.s i have nothing against bub, i'm annoyed at staff for thinking they could let this slip so easily
 
Pythonawe bubba explained to me how the bug works.
you know how you have the stuff from your last class in lobby and after you walk forward a little ?
well it just looks like that the server for some reason still thinks you have that gear. so when you hit somebody with the item slot of your axe/sword when your class gets reset you do as much as a iron axe with your fist. it was not hacks :P
btw does calling somebody (bubberet) "childish" make you feel better about your self?

the rules say he could get perm ban for what he did. so maybe he was lucky?
 
His childish behavior and pretending to be immortal made me reconsider Everybody's mind into banning him.
 
you do realize this isnt the second time he abused a bug and this is also the second time he is acting childish
