As the Top 100th or 101th I think, I have no clue what to say due to the fact that I'm crying right now XD but thank you Tim and staff for hosting a server for me and others to enjoy. You had certain balls to run a server like this that even I'm too lazy to run something this dope! People say you are completely throwing away the server. But I don't see that because unlike you, I don't even had the balls to fix my airships and turn it into a server. I mean look at Hentz! He only made his server to improve his leadership skills. After he close his server, he's too lazy to make it a mob siege as promised (no offence Hentz btw). Compared to Tim, he obviously doesn't like running a server. But HE DID IT ANYWAYS! He did it for the community! And that deserves a medal for being gangsta that way (if that medal was real, I would give it to Tim ). So, to everyone who says that Tim is throwing away the server, well, I'm sorry but I don't see that as the situation.

This server man... One of the most dope servers I've ever seen. It was so good that I've kept assuming that servers like ToW and Conwy are crap ( I should really get out of that habit soon or else I'll stay a hippie forever). I mean seriously though. The mixtape uruk (aka Uruk torcher), The FaZe Uruk (aka Uruk crossbowman), and that one siege weapon (I forgot what's it called because I haven't played in a while. It's too laggy for me :\) on dale. Yo, those classes and siege weapons are dope (btw, if you are wondering why I call those classes random names, I'm used to calling them like that)! Empire War has the best community around. Man, I will missed those easter eggs (including cory's pub and that octopus easter egg where there's a maze that's impossible to pass because of the traps), making those retarded mixtape jokes whenever I use uruk torcher, sniping people like a FaZe Uruk, and most of all, some of the empire war communities that doesn't have any social programs like skype (which means that we won't be able to see those guys again).

To everyone who's reading this, give the staff and builders a "good job, homie. What ya did there for the past few years was pretty gangsta" because they worked so hard to run this server. Actually, make it a hashtag!!! So, in honor of these staff homies and the community homies, I decided to start an Illuminati series on my wall . The least I can do is make the community more interesting with my mind blowing series. The most popular post I made was the "sjoerdtim is Illuminati." That completed my life with around 20 likes XD.

Honestly, I don't know anyone other than Tim and that rockslide guy from conwy( think that's what's he's named) who hosted a server for everyone to enjoy. I mean... That takes 100 million balls to do that! And that inspired me a lot (well, it didn't really inspired me to work on my "sons of Icarus" type of battle mini game but it inspires me in life). I mean, after the Eula was release, Tim was so gangsta that he kept the donor classes till the Eula was enforced and started punishing servers. And that inspires me. Although, I am quite disappointed that empire war is closing, I would like to say,

Thank you Tim, Staff member homies, Builder homies for bringing this wonderful gift of Empire war to this community. That was the most gangsta thing I've seen!

I think people have been overly fixated on the staff's faults. Yes, those flaws exist, but remember that its those same people who kept this community alive for nearly half a decade if not more.

Thx Tim and staff for building one of the best servers out there. Even after prob two years I still remember when I first got on the forums/server. My first map was Minas Tirith and I was an Orc Archer, of course being a noob at the time I got rekt but at the same time I did alright for my first time on the server, after a few min we had a poll to Erebor where I experienced that. I was legit fascinated at how the server ran and how it was like LotR. After that I went to the forums where I made a thread on The Battle Of The Five Armies, and Hero Classes. For that I also thank m4 for being the first to "accept" me on the server.

As of the server and staff I thank you a lot this server was one of the best I've ever played on and it became really addictive to play on. I'm sad to see such a strong community go away and a good server but I think your mind is already made up and you won't give the server to anyone else or keep it running. Thx for giving me and others a server to play on that is and was fun for everyone (I hope)

This was my favourite server, and the community and staff are so amazing. The people I've gotten to know are some of the best and coolest people that I've met and I'm gonna miss everyone and the server a lot. I hope to remain in contact with most of you and I will never forget the awesome times I had here on Empire War

Though i may not be nearly as active as i was back years ago, i do thank them for the time spent here. We sometimes forget that they are people too, not robots to do our bidding, they have lives outside this game. And its almost time for the adult world, as i understand it, for tim.
Mods aren't perfect, but they did their best with the time that they had.
Community isn't perfect either, but they were a major factor in making this server what it was.
Gotta remember the few interesting things, such as Tim's face reveal turning into a meme.
