Yø waddup guys, haven't seen a lot of you in a while cos I haven't been active on the forums here. I've been playing on the server regularly but under a different name(I'm going to change back to Skwerrul as soon as I can).

I had to completely delete Minecraft off my computer today because I basically destroyed it whilst trying to install Shaders(lol), and when I re-downloaded it and tried to rejoin EW it said "Can't resolve hostname". I don't know why this is, as I entered the IP advertised on the site here(mc.empirewar.org), and when that didn't work tried every other possible alternative to no avail. Can someone please tell me what I'm messing up or what the IP is if I'm somehow getting it wrong?
I'm really confused.

^^ If that doesn't work, it'll be an issue with Minecraft on your computer. I'd recommend going to a computer "shop" or something, sure they'll know about Minecraft. They could help.
 
I think it could also be an issue with your firewall blocking Minecraft from the internet, fully or partially.

poor kid i think hes still confused
 
People are having this issue sometimes, what ik, if none of the IPs works, just give it some time, test the IPs sometimes while playing.

My firewall is turned off, this is the only server I've ever had issues connecting to.

Is it possible that it's messing up because when I first played I used a VPN?
 
You serious right now.... .-. They should probably like, get that fixed or something...
