VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Miriel walked back over with him and sat between Cardiloc and Ha'zi before grabbing a plate and placing a couple of lamb ribs on it with a chicken breast and some roasted potatoes.

Ha'zi saw that there was an assortment of meats from quial legs on the opposite side of the table to the huge mumakil foot in the center of it. The thing was enormous and already a couple people had taken chunks of meat out of it. The flesh was rough and nearly grilled brown.

Cardiloc noticed Miriel's return and saw she had brought Ha'zi back. There was some enmity between the two of them.

((Sorry I was in a hurry and hadn't checked the subsequent posts))
Daugo walked over to where Thoruk and Iver were, outside the Hall of Feasts. "Hullo you wankers," he said as he approached the two members of the Karoltai he got along best with. Iver looked liked some serious shit had happened to him, but Thoruk, on the other hand, seemed radiant. Strange.

"Your a clumsy one aren't you." The Dunlending grumbled, standing up and heading over to the Mumakil leg to grab a chunk of meat.

A couple of the elves laughed at Zaro's accident. "Apologies, friend. Zaro isn't that social." One of the elves said to Cardiloc. He was one of the shortest and Cardiloc might have even been taller than him, "Eargund's the name."

The elf next to Zaro lightly tapped his shoulder, "Stop fooling around, Zaro," It was Harros, one of his lieutenants. They had both grown up together and he knew Zaro more than Zaro knew himself. "He's just a boy." He motioned at the Dunlending.

Ha'zi drooled at the sight of the gigantic piece of meat. He definitely knew now what he was getting... but Cardiloc was heading for it.

Propelled by his massive hunger, Ha'zi dashes towards the Mumakil
foot to get a larger slice on his plate than the Dunlending. Nothing can get between a boy and his food.

"I can see that elf." He wiped any sauce off his shirt with his arm. He was heading towards the mumakil when Ha'zi suddenly dashed past him, knocking the Dunlending slightly off balance. "Wha-" He gasped as the boy ran towards the Mumakil leg. Cardiloc slowly reached the Mumakil and checked if Ha'zi had left anything for him.

Iver hurried to catch his sister. He grabbed her and brought her into the house. He looked for a bed or a chair to put her in.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Iver stayed outside and saw daugo walking toward him. "Just for your information its no nut november" He said, still on the ground. He was too weak to get up, let alone walk all the way to the hall. "If you could bring me something to drink it could be great" Iver continued.

Iver found her room and laid her down in her bed. She was still convulsing in sorrow, crying and weeping. Her beautiful face had become a mess of tears and snot. She tried to cover it up desperately but failed miserably. She slowly fell asleep...

"Seriously, Card? I'm trying to eat here, thank you very much." He mutters as he tries to grab a slice of the Mumakil yet again.

Iver entered the bed and hugged her, whispering words of comfort in her ears until she fell asleep. Then he walked outside and looked at the house, what was the situation of the place? Was it messy? Did they need a lunch to be prepared? He would stay in the house and take care of it until his sister wakes up or Vlad will get back home and then he will...... figure it out later.

"We all need to eat Ha'zi..." The Dunlending waited patiently for Ha'zi to grab a slice, then getting his own after returning to his seat.

Vlad did not return for the next five hours and his sister slept like a baby. Eventually, Iver realized he had to leave her. The others were counting on him to be ready for tomorrow. It was a big flight south and he would need his energy. He would have to leave and return to the Volfovich Mansion. He could write a note...

----------

Miriel had finished her meal and Ela burped loudly and slumped into her chair taking a yawn.

Most of the others were finishing up but a few were drinking alcohol. Though, it would not be wise to do so considering their ventures for the morrow.

Celeborn and Aragorn laughed at the east wing of the table. The King's wife was beautiful beyond belief and her pointed ears indicated to all those who glimpsed her that she was an elf. She politely ate, stood and left. On her way out a maid walked up to her, holding a little baby in her hands and laid the infant onto the Queen's arms. She slowly walked away carrying the baby, leaving through a backdoor.

Harros finished and waited patiently for Zaro to finish. The others like Karstir and Turmir continued to eat and some like Eargund drank wine.

An elf walked out of the hall and noticed the trio outside. Glorfindel's eyes narrowed on the hobbit, the Dalishman and the Dwarf. He retreated into Merethrond and re-appeared with food and drink. Enough for all three had been piled on one great plate which he balanced on his hand and he carried a huge mug of water.

"You'll need this, Karoltai," he placed them next to Iver on the stone floor before retreating once more and returning with more food and water, offering it to Thoruk and Daugo.

"What are your names, friends? Mine is Glorfindel." He told them.

Card took his mumakil chunk and sat back down on his seat, he ripped a piece off and began eating it quickly. The dunlending was starved after hours of flying and made no effort to hide his barbaric method of eating.

Daugo's brow furrowed a bit at the sight of an elf he had not yet met. "Name's Daugo, Daugo Burgins. This poor bastard here is Iver, the dwarf is Thoruk. Thank you for the food; I suppose we're expected to go into the Hall?"

Sigeric decided that there was little point in standing around and brooding. A bit of conversation might do him good, and take his mind off of the group's impending doom. He sat down near the other shifters at the table, taking a few quail legs and pouring himself a glass of wine. He looked towards Cardiloc, Ha'zi, and Dimitri. "I trust that your journey went well?" He asked. "It certainly could not have been worse than my own." Sigeric gave a false smirk to put the others at ease.

Ha'zi quickly took his large chunk of Mumakil meat, and  began devouring it, equally barbaric to Cardiloc's method of eating. When he was finished, he reached for a few more slices of Mumakil and some vegetables, eyeing the food with delight.
