VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Well," Ha'zi says with a smile, "I'll have to think about it, Dimitri. If we actually get through this whole ordeal, I'll probably stop by a bit if I'm not already with you. For the mean time, need any help with your tent?" 8861015

"Ok, I'll just finish up my tent then.." Ha'zi turns back to the work at hand. He had some experience with setting up tents from his time with Cardiloc and Dimitri, then later with Ela, in the wilderness on their way to Dunland then Gondor. His family also lived in tents for a short time, so he had some familiarity with setting them up there.
It was a bit difficult for him to do it by himself, he always had others helping him previously, but he quickly got the hang of it and had his tent set up a while later after his conversation with Dimitri.

Ha'zi, as he finally completed the work to set it up, his agenda for the night suddenly hit him. He had to:
1. Talk to Celeborn about the Book of Vana.
2. Train with Zaro the elf for a while.
3. Try to get in some time to apologize to Cardiloc.
4. Constantly worry over what will happen between him and Miriel for sleeping situations and re-think all his life decisions--

Wait, that one wasn't one of them. Although he should probably do that...

He sighed, and sat down on a nearby rock. What will he do? Who should he go to first? Should he actually talk to Miriel right now or give some time between the two of them? Well, which one was most important. Maybe that would help....

So, if it was a matter of importance, which should he do: Go and meet Celeborn or discuss their relationship with Miriel? He was really interested as to what the elf was going to say in their meeting.. but his thoughts drew him back to Miriel. Would it only make things worse if he didn't address it immediately? What would happen between them? Would she distance herself from Ha'zi? Could he ever get as close to her again as they had been before? Or was it already too late? Had their relationship crumbled completely?

The Haradrim boy groaned. This was too much for him. Not wanting to stress over these thoughts any further, he decided to do the first thing on his list: Talk to Celeborn about the Book of Vana. The Lord of Lothloríen was watching the last of the Noldorin tents spring up. He stood, back to the campfire, gazing upon his huge tent as it was slowly erected by his kinsmen. Ha’zi saw him taking in the scene, the huge camp around them and encircled by the great forest of Ithilien. It reminded him a lot of his time in Far Harad, though, those jungles were far denser than even the wilds of Northern Ithilien.

The sweet smell of pot roast began to waft about the camp as the sun slowly set in the west, falling behind the tree line.

Dimitri finished putting up his tent, picked up his dust-coated bundle of weapons, and went to where the meal of the evening was going to be served with his warhammer. It'd be a long time since he enjoyed a nice camp meal, he used to have them all the time back in Pinnath Gelin.

Ha'zi approached the campfire, a bit nervously, to talk to the tall elf. "C-Celeborn, you said you wanted to meet with me?" He asked the Lord. 12253360

The tall elf turned to him, "Ah, Master Ha'zi...did I? Do you need anything? Are you having difficulty with your tent? There are some Gondorians helping your friends but I could personally aid you...?" The elf scratched his pointed ear, rather confused.

Elrohir was playing the flute whilst his brother, Elladan began to roast a huge slab of beef, having previously salted and marinated it. Dimitri saw the two elven captains cooking in silence. The one playing the flute stopped and saw his warhammer, "'Ey, fellow, what's your name?"

"Um, yeah. You told me to meet you to talk about the B- the item I showed you earlier." He was about to say "the Book of Vana", but he remembered the elves' worried look when he showed it to Glorfindel and Celeborn previously. Ha'zi was surprised the elf forgot about their meeting, since he talked about it with such importance, but he supposed it was because Celeborn was so busy.

Ha'zi shook his head. "No need, I already have everything set up. I'm just here for what we discussed, but thank you for the offer anyways." 12253360

"Oh," Celeborn muttered, "Glorfindel is the elf you who has the book. He wanted to meet with you. A minor error, Master Ha'zi. You may find him in his tent, there," he pointed out towards the edge of the woods behind Celeborn's Great Tent. A hammock lay between two oak trees with a white-haired elf sitting in it, reading a rather odd looking book. His rather odd looking book.

16315828

"No, no, you said you wanted to talk with me earlier, not Glorfindel. I was mistaken, you wanted to talk with me about the Trickster fellow, not that book. Sorry about the confusion, Celeborn." Ha'zi said, clearly embarassed at his mix-up. 12253360

"Ah, yes," he paused, "Let us sit." He pointed to a couple logs which had been rolled out to make seats around the campfire in the elven section. Many elves sat around the fire and spoke, some looked up at the Haradrim youth and others kept their eyes low whether out of respect or fear.

Celeborn sat down and began, "So, what is this Trickster? One of those that survived Beleriand? I had thought they'd gone extinct after the War of Eriador..." he broke off into a history lesson of the Second Age where Sauron and the remnants of Morgoth's minions were defeated by the Elves and Numenoreans of Arda.

16315828

"I don't know exactly. He's just randomly shown up to torment us. He seems pretty powerful, he was able to force Ilmare to sleep when we were on the island, and he even choked all the shifters at once with a snap of his fingers. The man has a pretty strange home, too, as I said. There's a picture there with him standing around with all these weird, colorful figures. One of them I later recognized at a shrine, some buff guy named 'Tulkas.' But he, the Trickster, seemed rather out of place in the pictures compared to the rest of the odd people. Maybe they're his family?" Ha'zi suggested. "I wouldn't know. All I really do know is that he has a wife, has been watching us for most of the time on the island, and that he seemed a bit upset about the fact that Morgoth was released, even though we were told that he was a servant of Him." 12253360

Celeborn digested all of this.

"Interesting. If this is a Trickster, they must be supremely powerful to put down a Maia like Ilmarë. She was said to be amongst the most powerful of Varda's handmaidens. Only something with the power of the Ainur would be able to defeat a Maia so easily. And he should not be trusted in any circumstance. He is definitely a servant of the Enemy if he is a trickster...yet.." He paused to think, "No, it's too absurd to even contemplate that. Tricksters were able to be killed with blades made of wood. The next time you see this 'Trickster', stab him with it."

16315828

"I really don't think so, Celeborn. He seemed very against the idea of supporting Morgoth, and blamed us for his release into the world. And we already know about the wood thing, a Maia named Pyrus showed it to us when he killed the Trickster for the first time, then when Iver shot him another." 12253360

"So," He perpetuated, "Is the Trickster dead or alive?"

16315828

"The last I saw of him was his death, but he has turned up again already after 'dying', so I have no real idea, frankly." Ha'zi replied. 12253360

Celeborn opened his hands a bit, "I'm sorry, Ha'zi but I am truly stumped. You claim this to be a Trickster but it shows no signs of being a Trickster. It apparently does not support Morgoth, the creator of Tricksters, it apparently also has shown to be supremely powerful and can somehow avoid death. It's either been tied to an ancient weapon of power like a Silmaril," he whispered, "Or it's not a Trickster at all."

16315828

After setting his tent Iver went to look for Cardilac and Hazi. He found the southern first.
"Aye Hazi, got a sec?" He asked em

Ha'zi sighed. "I am confused on it all, too. Although, there's some stuff I didn't discuss before." He took a moment to think and remember previous events, then continued, "When we were in the pit, there were some strange symbols on the wall that led to a tunnel into his mansion. My shifter's memory recognized it from his torture, but that's about it. Some other things I saw next to his possible family photo was a lot of hunting equipment, gruesome paintings displaying his hunts, and a lot of trophies along the walls. He also had a picture of him with a beautiful, golden-haired lady, a marriage, perhaps? He mentioned he had a wife quite a few times. The one next to that was of the two of them and a little girl. I also saw one of him and a boy at a pond... and the boy looked like Ëonwë, weirdly. It may have actually been him, I don't know." 12253360
--------
"Oh, hey, Iver. What do you want to see me for?" Ha'zi asked the merchant. 14628767

With the sudden appearance of Mairon Pyrus would reach for his Maiar Blade and swing to face the figure who came from nowhere, a warning cry on his lips. But upon noticing him he relaxed moving his hand away from the blade. "Apologies I didn't expect you to pop up so sudden. Anyways the training has gone well so far, I'm having Azura and then four of my men teach those who aren't a spirit, drake, or etc. the Maiar of Ulmo I have working with the ice spirits so they can work together when the time arises and then the drakes who can fly and the fire spirits training so they can combat those such as the Eagles or the shifters. Besides supervising I'm helping the wingless drakes in stealth, a group of Maia are acting as if they are hunting them, both have clear instructions not to kill or harm each other to greatly." He'd explain to him, motioning to the side where he would be able to see the hunting game. Next to Pyrus was a birdbath like structure, but more cylinder in shape made out of stone.
