VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

The elf scrutinized him with his eyes, "Yes. Come with us, if you will, Deslan." The elves surrounding seemed to back off and follow as the lead elf motioned Deslan to follow. It was clearly not a request.

"Um, no. Do I know you?" Sarge asked, confused. The man's hair had turned from curly brown to cotton whites and he had grown out a beard. On top of that, he was clearly much less physically active judging by the evident pot belly on the man.

------------

"Yea." Marco agreed, eating the leftovers of their meal. Iver was taking awfully long but could they really just get up and leave without paying?

"Oh yes you do, you just need a quick reminder. 20 years ago, you arrested a bunch of guys at the prancing pony, stole their stuff and sold them to slavery. Ring any bell?"

"Did that to a lot of fools but I never expected anyone to return," Sarge chuckled, backing up and sliding the door forward so that Iver couldn't enter.

Dimitri saw the Maia paying Barliman Butterbur for their meal and heard some of the conversation,
"So, you really should read some of my new books."
"I shall once I return. You make them sound quite interesting, Barliman."
"Oh, they are, trust me, you'd like them." The bartender said.

Dimitri then heard him being called.

After an hour of trotting Deslan saw the forest part and a couple of mountains appeared in front of him. The lead elf stated, for exposition purposes of course, "The Halls of the Elvenking. Dismount and disarm, please." An elf came to hold the reigns of Deslan's horse and a couple appeared ready to take his weapons.

Iver pushed his foot into the space to stop the door. "Well old friend, it is time for you to pay he price" He said and pushed the door, ready to deal with the old man.

Sarge backed up against the wall, trapped, "HELP!" He screamed, "SOMEONE IS ATTACKING ME!!!"

14628767

"Oh do you think they can help you?" Iver asked the scared man. "The dead cannot be killed he said as he stabbed his arm and showed the man how hos flesh and skin grow back. All while wearing a crazy smile. "you were right, we all died. But i came back, to avange our death"

Sarge was still screaming. He went wild, dropping to the floor and crawling away from Iver, retreating into the darkness of his own house.

Some lights turned on in the house across the street.

"Redeam your sins. Give away what you have stolen, and we might forgive you" Iver said. "You have this night, prove to me that there is still good in your heart, pay off the bills of all the inn users and diners or the dead shall feast on your flesh. The living cannot kill whats already dead" He said before shutting the door and running away to a hiding spot.

Pyrus would with his mace knock away the closest spear going to make it hit the other spear, then with his hammer he would go to hit the swordsman in the head, making sure to put strength into his swing.

Sarge looked behind him to see the assailant had disappeared. He can't place where he knew that person but it was like deja vu. He reached his weapons cabinet and pulled out a long rapier from its scabbard, unsheathing the blade in the light of the moon which entered through the nearby windows.

"Where are you apparition? Some sort of ghoul from the Barrow Downs, right? I don't need to spend anything on dumb inn keepers and petty peasants. They can earn it like I did!" He shouted, swinging his sword through the air in front of him, hoping to hit Iver.

Iver was off to his left in a corridor, he had direct access to attack him. 14628767

--------

The swordsman's head caved in from the blunt damage of the strike. His two friends saw that and ran in fear like the rest of their companions. Pyrus had killed a man and scared the other five away. He saw a glint of light on the floor and noticed his Maiar-blade. It shimmered in the moonlight and he felt a tingle of fear and anticipation. Would he die like that? Would he die like Ilmare did? Would his brothers and sisters hunt him down? And if so, what would he do? Go silently into the night or put up a fight? Submit or struggle? These thoughts came to Pyrus as he saw a bright light soar down from the dark sky. It disappeared behind some buildings ahead of him. Oh no. He knew what it was...

"So we shall feast on your flesh tonight" he said as he pulled out his trusty crossbow and shot the man before rushing to slash him with his dagger.

Sarge felt blood rush down his thigh as the crossbow bolt hit him. He turned to see that devil rushing him with a dagger and quickly stabbed his rapier into Iver, impaling the Dalishman.

"Ha! Die fiend." He slid the blade straight through Iver's chest.

14628767

Iver allowed the blade to go through him "The dead cannot be killed" He said as he slashed his throat wit the dagger.
(after that he close and lock the door)

Sigeric watched from the shadows as Iver threatened Sarge and the man screamed in fear. The bastard was going to wake up everyone in the street. Iver should have killed him when he had the chance. Sigeric had followed his countryman to Sarge's house, after leaving the Prancing Pony and buying a fresh grey cloak from the same shop as Dimitri. He wanted to ensure that Iver wouldn't do anything rash, but it seemed that he had arrived too late.
Sigeric crept forward, reaching the door and sneaking inside.

Pyrus would put his hammer back behind him and sling his mace once again. Kneeling down he would pick up his blade and examine it, thoughts coursing through his head. He knew that against other Maia he held a chance of persuading them to leave him alone or to fight them, but the Valar? He held no chance. He started to go through the lists of places where he could live, perhaps the mountains? Deserts of Harad? Perhaps build a bunker under the ocean? He would let out a sigh and seath his blade, picking up the sword and the thrown spear also, but something made him turn around, and when he did he saw the blaze of light and a fireball hitting the ground a few houses away. For the first time in years he truly feared for his life. Reaching behind him he would find a space to hold the sword somewhere on his back and carry the spear as he opened the stable door to let the horse out. Untying it he would swiftly mount it and start to ride out of the stables, using the spear as a lance.
