VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Sigeric was about to walk towards the horses, when he suddenly stopped. He sighed, and turned back to the group. "Iver is right. We have all been through a lot today. Let us make camp here." He moved towards Cardiloc, and helped him with Ha'zi. "Listen boy. The Trickster is dead. He cannot hurt you, and you cannot hurt him. No good shall come of this. You need to rest."

"Ha'Zi stop!" Cardiloc shouted to the Haradrim, his expression sympathetic yet he was taken aback by Ha'Zis threat. "You'd really kill me?" The dunlending questioned Ha'zi.

"I don't know, I don't care. My entire fucking life has been destroyed in the last few weeks. I've been raped, my friends have been murdered, crushed, obliterated, I saw my father alive and dead. And that.. that bitch is right. No matter how awful he was, he's... He's right. I've only brought pain and destruction. I brought the apocalypse without a thought for fuck's sake." He stops and starts sobbing, "I just don't know anymore."

"Ha'zi..." He uttered out the words, unable to respond. "Look I'm sorry, ok? I'm sorry people did this shit to you, but your safe now you've got us. And if that's enough I swear to my ancestors that as long as I have breath in my body I will keep you safe..," He promised the boy pulling him into a hug, comforting bim.

"Stay here? Rest?" the dwarf thinks as he turns around. "There's no point in wasting time" he mumbles as he walks towards his pony in order to ride on, with or without them.

"Oh," Ha'zi manages to say at Cardiloc's sudden hug. He rests his head on the Dunlending, the sobbing now gone. He calmly replies, "Thank you."

"Thoruk wait" Iver shouted after him. "If we go we go together, but can we please wait for moment or two? I dont think we are in a condition to defeat a fcking hobbit" He said before looking ad daugo "No offence Daugo"

"Yea, sure, man, but like, let's rest, yea, Thoruk?" Marco said to the dwarf, he stuck next to Iver.

Deslan coughed to take the elf's attention.
''I'll be quick about this, don't care if you don't believe me. It would be worse for you lot - and everyone in Middle Earth, for that matter - so listen carefully.''
''Dumb and violent individuals, five humans, two dwarfs and a halfling, got the Karuld- Karrolt- Kataroltay- people that turn into giants free from their magical isle you probably don't know about. Now Morgoth is free, Valinor is in civil war, Eonwe probably got his ass served to him or something, I don't know. Still, even if Morgoth wasn't a problem, which he is, these rascals all can turn into monsters that exacerbate the filth in them, so it's best if we get rid of them. Me, I get rid of them.''
Deslan showed the elf his mechanical arm, a jewel of engineering, magic and runes. ''Aule sent me to take care of them, so I'd appreciate a little cooperation, yes?''

"Maybe you're not in the condition to defeat a hobbit" he says as he stops walking "but I'm a dwarf of the Ironbeard-Clan, no matter what, we never flee from a fight" he addes as he turns around. "Only a few hours break." he then says as he walks towards them "I won't join this riVeNdElL cOnvErSatIoN" he says with a taunting voice "I'll head straight towards the north" he finally addes, as he walks to the group again.

They eventually settled down in a camp in a clearing, away from the dead orcs and the body of the Trickster. The day passed and so did the night and sweet sleep came to them...

When they were all asleep, a man trudged through the darkness and walked up to the corpse of the Trickster, placing his boot on the mushed, brutalized face. He stared at the body before a sad smile came across his face.

"Heh, I pushed them a bit too far. But, far enough for them to be ready for what's to come." And the man with tawny hair snapped his fingers, his form disappearing, leaving the dead body of the Trickster to rot in the clearing.

((TIME SKIP))

Chapter 8: BROKEN CHAINS

It was dawn when they awoke. The first thing they saw were the elves. Nearly a dozen of them had surrounded their camp and one approached after they had all waken.

"What do you seek on the land of the Noldor?" He asked them all, having stepped out of the bushes and into the clearing. They had gotten up, were quite famished and had a cranky back from sleeping on the cold hard Earth.

The elf turned to him, taking in everything he said.

"And your name is?" Was the only question, the elf seemed to find this amusing as he was smiling, softly at him.

"The last time I checked, the Trollshaws were part of the wild, and not included in your domain. This is a common road, to be sure." Sigeric said, pointing at the East Road just outside of their camp. "I suppose that much can change in twenty years. I am Sigeric of Dale. My companions and I seek entrance to Rivendell. We bear you no ill will."

"Eh yea" Thoruk says as he listens to Sigeric speaking with them. "Actually not everybody wants to head to rivendell, ya know?" he says as he points on himself. "I'm Thoruk from the iron hills and I'm heading north, towards the grey mountains." the migthy dwarf says.

"Forgive my Dwarven friend. He hasn't gotten enough sleep, and is a bit confused. All of us are planning to stop at Rivendell, before going our separate ways." Sigeric's friendly smile was contrasted by an annoyed glare, directed at Thoruk.

"You merely wish access to the high pass?" The elf asked the question.

Ha'zi had spent much of the night trying to clean his books, which still had some stains from earlier. He  managed to clean it pretty well, but the smells still remained. Nevertheless, Ha'zi attempted to read the Mumakil book. He only managed to get to 'Chapter 2: Not Getting Impaled' before he fell asleep.

When he was rudely woken up in the morning by the newcomers, Ha'zi was still very sleepy and didn't really know what was happening. The boy sleepily muttered, "Mumakil..." before falling asleep again.
