What would you after a nuclear war?

You would die before you left the atmosphere because of exhaustion.
WHAT TO DO IN A NUCLEAR WAR:
-run to the Metro
-try to build something to prevent radiation from getting in
-organizing survivors
-hiding and preparing stuff for 4 or 5 weeks
-create stalkers
-start contact with other survivors
-build weapons
-conquer peacefully or by force
-conquer all Metro
-start the Republic of Riko
-RULE THE NEW WORLD AFTER THE FLASH MUAHAHHAHAHAHA
-then establish contact with sci-fi telepathic mutants
-run to the Metro
-try to build something to prevent radiation from getting in
-organizing survivors

Problem, if you live in a town that has a metro system, it's 100% likely that a very large bomb would have hit the town ;/.
And if you live outside it, good luck finding the metro entrance ways when wall the buildings are toppled over them.
Plus fires will be everywhere and if a whole city is burning there will be a cloud of smoke that will literally block out sunlight.
Don't run to the city...
High chance that I'd be dead after a war sooooo.... Nothing I guess?
