Will there be another RP server?

I'll explain it.


To the Staff, it felt like nobody really Rp-ed, and everybody thought it was a Pvp/Factions server. Of course, there were problems there and here, but the part that you want to hear: Maybe. They've saved the map, because they maybe will come back, this is also the reason why they are waiting with the download. People could abuse it, and discover everything.
 
One of the suggestions I wanted to tell Sjoerd:

Ban Rp-breakers very quickly, and also an OOC channel, since some people don't like it to use braclets every second.

buff the application so we can block more people and have a fake rp server at first to test all the people who dontt actually rp
second, get a app team because the apps were too much for the admins
 
Rp servers are the hardest in the start. Many people still need to learn to RP, and that'll take some time. After that, it will be much easier, as there are less rulebreakers.
 
very simply, the answer is to empty out the non-rpers before they even complete the application. check this out, its an app for another server, this is a truly hard app to complete, I hope this doesn't count as advertising, cuz I left the server already cuz of the too hard rp. lol http://www.mc-riseofkings.net/whitelist
 
We have many ideas in mind, quite a few of which I shall broach to Sjoerdtim next I see him.
We will, of course, accept any player input and ideas of what we should do. We want to make it up to you guys as much as possible.

Yeah, it took me 2 days ti get whitelisted on that server :P
 
I myself would love to see the return of the RP server (surprised to see me on the forums? Yeah, been a while. Focusing on school now so I don't play as much as I used to.)
And the suggestions I've seen so far in this thread are great, things we could really use. We're currently discussing RP some more in the staff chat, but don't get your hopes up :p
 
A feature I would like to see in the RP server, if it comes back, a harder whitelist, and make people see death messages, so you can actually have proof of people killing you.
