I was playing Pokemon Sun, normal eh? Well I decided to teach my growlithe (Growly! <3) odor sleuth. Odor sleuth, the move the finds ghosts, catches evasive pokemon and finds magikkarp disguised as humans- oops. Nobody was supposed to know that... ._. Anywho I was fighting some random unimportant 'mon when I was struck by a thought- I looked at odor sleuth's typing, and it was.... NORMAL! That's right, a normal type move on a ghost.... makes ghost vulnerable to normal/fighting type moves? I never questioned it but now that i think it, how does it affect it if normal cant affect? But then you could say the effect comes first and thats registered before the normal (very likely by the RNG) but then you have to think that the move is normal, so it CAN'T work. I confundeled myself. ,-, There we go folks, over analyzing pokemon. (on a side notw, ever notice how only dog-like pokemon can use odor sleuth?)
