Well with me constantly having to argue and counter argue apex's, mile's, and pasta's moves in Moria, I decided to give up and rage quit. I know this isn't very professional, but there comes times when it seems like it becomes a nuisance trying to counter people's moves rather than actually have a strategic battle.
I think this 'incident' with Moria 2 battle shows that there comes a time when RPers get out of hand. We all are guilty of it occasionally. This however went too far, there was bad information, non-canon sources being used, probably a good bit of Meta and Powergaming used. I think the RP needs to take a good long look and thought about what Moria 2 can mean. I hate to say this, but there was minimal DM moderating of this battle.
I don't mean to hate, but when I am having to constantly search out for DM's to help with the battle, confirm moves, and the whole shabang, it gets annoying for me and I know the DM's, who have characters of their own they'd rather be RPing. Major battles like Moria, or battles that have THEIR OWN THREAD, need to be heavily monitored, with over 6 different RPers fighting, each with their own plans, things happen.
Sorry to sound so angry and raging but there comes a time and place where things need to be said. In truth, I'm a little disappointed with the staff, I don't know if it's a combination of Titan being gone, or lots of IRL things happening at once, or something else.
Maybe the staff needs to be buffed a bit, or RPers held to a higher accountablitity. Maybe we just need Titan back. Maybe I'm just being some hormonal teenage boy screaming over a computer screen. The fact of the matter still remains. The RP needs reform. Adding Nowin to the staff has helped some, but still there is more that needs to be done.
Hopefully the RP can move forward from this and be better because of it.
Sorry to be this way, I'll be over all this in a few days time. And thanks for reading this.
Sincerely,
