    We have not based the travel ban on where 9/11 hijackers came from. It is based on areas that are currently filled with the most terrorist cells. Libya is filled with the Muslim Brotherhood, Iraq and Syria ISIS, plus Syria is controlled by Assad. Somalia is filled with Al-Shabab. Something bad is going on in Yemen with extremist rebels and the US Embassy was forced closed and evacuated. Iran has supported insurgents (terrorists) in Sunni Muslim areas, and has a nuclear program. Iran’s Ayatollah has frequently made his people say “Death to America” and called for the “Annihilation of Israel”. Iran banned US citizens after the US recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. All of these countries are US enemies (technically Libya is supposed to be neutral after Gadaffi was removed from power, and Iraq is an ally but has been overrun by ISIS). These countries are all quite hostile to Americans. UAE and Saudi Arabia are two of the four most peaceful Arab nations (the others being Kuwait and Qatar) and are US allies, and them plus Lebanon and Egypt are all part of the coalition against ISIS and are safer than the countries on the travel ban list. Also, technically The Donald has or had business in some of the ISIS controlled area, but it is no longer viable.

    There is a direct correlation between a country being overrun by insurgents, being declared a failed state, and/or being openly hostile to the US and being on the travel ban list.

    God you're incredible at imitating the president. A+ for impression. Anyway, onto my real point: Jimmy Fallon started on SNL. Which is mocks the president so much it makes me hysterical (in a good way) and uncomfortable at the same time. And it was his dream job. The point is: Comedy can be about anything. Too lazy to link, but two Twitter peeps got into a jokingly racist burn war. It was great. It was funny. I loved that. (If the situation has changed, please forgive me. I haven't kept up with the story) Just because it doesn't agree with you doesn't make it propaganda. (This is a comment meant towards the real president more than the poor wall owner.)

    That's true. But I already defended it as not propaganda. It is cheesy comedy that makes me want to roll my eyes. It's so satirical that it's just... comedy. It it my belief that anything can be comedy. Anything. Jokes should (with obvious exceptions) be above personal moral standards.

    Note: the 2nd Amendment AFFIRMS the right to 'keep and bear arms' - IE, self-protection and preservation against those who would do you harm. The Donald has it absolutely correct - it is a VITAL part of American freedom. History has proven, time and again, that the first step to cowing/subduing a populace is to disarm them. I mean, really... those who are against ownership will call someone WITH A GUN if they are in trouble. Funny how that works. Controversial, perhaps, 'Mr President'. There are certain folks that should not have guns or any weapons for that matter - although, many tools - axes, machetes, screwdrivers, bats, crowbars - used in the right way make very effective weapons. The question is, where do we draw the line? In a way here, too, a line is drawn, starting with convicted felons and so forth. But really - who but the law abiding citizen is going to follow gun control laws? See, folks who are criminals are just that =criminals=. They don't give a rat's ass about laws, gun-control centric or otherwise. The answer is simple: adequately enforce the laws WE ALREADY HAVE and punish severely those who break them.

    I'm Pro-Gun even though I don't live in America. I understand why the 2nd Amendment is vital. Insane people, Criminals and Mentally-ill people are not allowed to buy guns. The media says that you don't have to go through background checks to obtain a gun. Even Obama said that. But, you do. There is a good and bad side, to everything.

As a former police officer, and long time firearms instructor (so I -might- know a little about which I speak, unlike most anti-gun nitnoids), a knife or any other implement can and WILL kill you as dead as a gun. Deadly Force is Deadly Force REGARDLESS of the delivery system. When it comes to life and death, there is NO SUCH THING as a fair fight. Pull a knife, club, crowbar and attack me with it, and I will SHOOT the assailant with my legally owned firearm(s) until the threat of Death or Serious Bodily Injury is neutralized. If that winds up being the perp being killed in the process? Well, there is this old adage about bringing a knife to a gunfight...

    [user]13809042[/user] I'm from UK and they should have guns 100%. They just wasted 11 police officers trying to tackle one man with a knife who is literally so bad at using it he didn't even cut an officer. If someone was half decent, few officers may have died. This type of thing happens alot and alot of police officers get killed just because they can't defend themselves. Tazers don't even work alot of the time. Not to mention tax payer money and police shortages tackling one man.

    Naw m8 socialism saves lives. Siberian gulag provides government work for those who need it and lines for loafs of bread give people time to think about how great generous Papa Stalin is to anyone who isn't a Capitalist. Also, secret police helps arrest and eliminate any potential love interest, neighbors, and valued family members, because love should only be for Papa Stalin! Capitalism gave us cheap goods, which is completely bad because now people have lots of food and can enjoy the more simple things in life without fear of government. Awful awful capitalism!

    At the time the war took place, 80% of the British empire were in France fighting Napoleon. It would have been easy for America to gain independence when none of the British resource was there.
