i just mean like this: Not to be mean, but Some, not all, i barley see on, maybe they have impressed tim with building, but idk. Since we never get a chance to show off our building to even get a chance at being builder, guess it wont happen.

Well 50% of mods are inactive so We do need more mods but I think a little more unique style of builds like my Rivendale
Project and my moria project

You don't know the whole story behind the reason why Tim might have added the person ;)

Example? Only_God. Tim knew him because he was an admin on FantasyWars (Now Clashwars), who else made the spawn and a lot of buildings, so Tim knew and saw that he was a great builder.

And most of the staff you see here, at ''http://www.empirewar.org/staff'' are persons who were originally from FantasyWars (Again, now Clashwars) and came with the merge.

The rest? Lju, Farmer, Diony (Now barely seen, not a lot of people will know him, but he knows Tim irl I believe, so you know that story too) are people from the ''ancient'' EmpireWars. (With ''ancient'' I mean older Rp servers ;P)

And finally, I think Iwas and Sauron are the only people who Tim had chosen himself on the current Siege server. (If you take away Lju, who recieved his moderator rank after he helped a bit with the recent Rp server when he became active again after a very long time, and for the people who didn't know, he first had pre-moderator, which he got on the ''ancient'' Rp server on a quite odd way)

That about right Farmer and/or Sjoerd?

Not inactive, busy with other projects.

Yeah, completely right.

My god. A player wants to apply on the forums for a builder position after being directed to it by a staff member. Everyone just cool off; stop giving him negative feedback for his builds (excluding that ship because it's epic). Now, my two cents on the builds...

Generally, I really like them. I, unlike some, believe that you've really done well in varying the textures used, while maintaining that overall palette. Although, I must agree that the house and windmill structures aren't really impressive in comparison to the ship. Indeed, anyone with a sense of design can do something similar. And for the house that is in the default texture pack, I recommend toning down the amount of 'stuff' going on. Too much interference with the corners and colours.

a) The ship. Jesus. Can you teach me how to do that? That's plain and simple: awesome.
b) The statues are also nice, however like the houses, not exacting impressive. More 'good' than anything.
c) All the other pictures, I'm not really impressed by. Fairly typical, if I may say so.

Ultimately, well done on your builds. You've obviously practiced considerably and I want to say thank you for showing us these builds. Whether you get in or not isn't up to me, and I certainly wouldn't want to be in the group that decides. Good luck.

P.S.

If you're all so good at building (>.> ds_nine and Akam) then why not show us some of your builds? It doesn't need to be complete, just some samples.

Apparently you don't understand my message. What I said was that they aren't impressive because they are in the light of the ship, which I find great. And 'typical' isn't negative feedback, it's quite neutral I assure you (which was the purpose of the word). Other then that, I complimented him and offered constructive advice. Please, actually read before you comment Andrew.

definition of negative is in this case: a word or statement that expresses denial, disagreement, or refusal
you disagree with him that his windmill is good therefore negative for example
you did say you liked his boat but you still included a negative sentence therefore going against your statement of "stop giving him negative feedback for his builds" it may not have been intended to be negative but if he thinks there better then you say they are its considered negative

I really don't have the time to explain to you my statements. Send me a PM if you feel the need to continue this conversation.

I'm working on Mordor lately and i finished the black gate im busy with Barad-dur and i realy made an awasome worlpainter map for it :D
