Dwarf axe thrower Downgrade

We all got our fun of using dwarf tomahawks and wrecking people, but it's time for a downgrade. Now I am pretty sure when tim designed dwarf axe thrower he was going for a remodel of spear man but for the dwarves. Four reasons why this doesn't work is: 1. Axes are regain able and spears can only be regained by supply chests 2. Axes may or may not do more damage 3. Axes throw farther than spears 4. Axes don't have a long cooldown. Now we all know these facts and so does tim and of course Spearman and Axethrower are different kits and should or should not be the same
Axe kill chart:
Troll kill=4 axes
Soldier kill=3 axes
Archer kill= 2 axes
Merc kill= 2 axes
As you can see Dwarven Axes are very OP and sometimes spammed by users, without bothering to use their swords.
Here's a few of my ideas:
1. Remove sword from Dwarf ax thrower and leave it the way it is
2. Give axes a cool down and remove all axe throwing damage but add 4 second poison to axes
3. Change axes to be almost entirely like spears but still have its original form and usage
Share yours ideas below and keep throwing

Spearman is a voter class, Axethrower is a point class. Of course Axethrower is going to be stronger.

Exactly.

Also there is a bug, glitch whatever, that causes your axes to not throw when an enemy player is right in front of you(something like 2-5 blocks away). This causes you to lose a lot of damage potential. Axethrower is fine as is and doesn't need to change.

You'd realise that nerfing this class will lower the defence of the dwarves even more? They wouldn't stand a chance against the troll and orc hordes when you nerf this class.

Dwarf axe thrower just got a much needed buff, its probably slightly over par for other point classes if the user can skirmish with axes right. but there are a lot more issues that would take priority over this. If siege were perfect it would be toned down very slightly, but siege is not perfect and there are other more prevalent issues at hand.

Something tells me after seeing at least the 5th post about this in the last week, that you really want an Easterling class, I can't seem to put my finger on it though.
Haradrim would make more sense. They fought more than the Easterlings in the war of the Ring,

Haradrim spearman is still bad, last time I checked, and that's a point class.
Axethrower was created before Haradrim Spearman, and in the original post he said "when tim designed dwarf axe thrower he was going for a remodel of spear man". The only spearman at the time was the voter one.

Hence that, what I said, is an issue that should be adressed.

Axethrower is fine. Its one of the classes which counters archer apart from archer.

Conclusion: No sorry. Even the majority of people who voted think the class is fine atm.
