Yes, the elves marched for Dol Guldur.
But only after they got attacked 3 times in Lothlorièn.
That just ain't fair!

Dwarves and men died side by side in Erebor and at the Pelennor Fields.

polls can be biased.

Uhhhh...no really, Sherlock? The whole point of polls is to be biased! They reflect the biases of everybody who votes in them, because they are biased for toward something and biased against another.

So yes, polls are quite certainly biased. And this one likes Elves. :D

Exactly sauron is ignorant for he is Sauron.

The Great Eye is ever watchful...and has the ability to tear away your ability to speak serverside if he is so inclined.

The Great Eye is displeased, but cares not as he stares towards the poll, which clearly shows the harddata necessary for this argument.

Most people will vote blindly, not knowing which is truly better, only on the movies or what they have seen or heard, the books will prove more, for judgment.

Agreed. I mean I like dwarves for their personalities, and such, but elves win this one by far . Also with the "Elves sailed from the Grey Havens to America" is Very wrong, middle earth for one thing is a continent, on the PLANET of Arda, Also they sailed to a different continent, of Arda, called Valinor, or the Undying Lands. <--- Technically the Heaven of the LOTR world, but instead of being never found, its on land. Which of course at the end of the book/movie, Frodo, and Gandalf, Went there. (Frodo due to him getting stabbed by the Witch-King, and the Morgul Blade, the damage it did to him, never really healed, and over time Frodo would die, so he went to Valinor).

No, I just think that the Dwarves story was more interesting than the Elves because they lost two of there cities to a Balrog and a Dragon. But Elves would win in a fight.

Yeah, well the Dwarves couldn't retake anything. Even though Balin (being my favorite Dwarf) failed. Here is an article of Balins quest for retaking Moria: In 2989, there was an attempt by the Longbeards to reclaim their ancient home. The expedition was led by Balin, who had accompanied Bilbo Baggins on the Quest of Erebor. He led a colony of Dwarves there from Erebor. The Colony was successful at first, killing a considerable number of Orcs, taking many of the Eastern halls and finding many lost treasures such as Durin's Axe. They were however defeated and slain by the Orcs in 2994.
Heres the link if you do not believe me http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Moria then scroll down to Balins Expedition.
