Did you think the Elves got any help from anyone? Because they didn't NEED anyone's help. Because there freking BOSS.
Yeah...No. If I recall correctly, wich I do being a master of lore, the dwarves needed help from no one except for when Smaug came and During the War of the Ring when Erebor was attacked. They did everything by themselves, even in the Nirnaeth Androdiad where they fought by themselves, and left by themselves after sending the dragon Glaurung crawling back to his black Master. They needed no one and heeded no one.Yeah well, those were the only things they needed help with. The Dwraves needed help for everything.
Holy -- this is old, normally I'd say don't bumb old threads but I guess the new players might wanna take a look or something... I guess... I don't know anymore..
Elves, totally. They help other races more (in the battle of Dagorlad only men and elves stood to defend middle-earth, and this wasn't the first time they did this nor the last), they are stronger in numbers, they are imune to age and sickness, they are fast, and they have a history of being involved in magic and being able to use those magic powers (i.e. Galadriel, Celeborn, Elrond, etc.).
