Helpers

This has been suggested numerous times but it seems the staff have not been able to see the suggestion (unless they're ignoring it, which is unlikely...)
 
Mike, you can just do that now. It doesn't need a staff position. Just tell people the answers they're looking for. :P
 
I think what Leo said states it all. and don't put this in Global Discussions, put it in suggestions!
 
Mods I believe can mute, I'm not sure about kick (you'd have to ask them). ANYONE can catch players doing bad things.
 
I suggest tim allows mods to kick players.
I think they are against new mods because they want their server to be secure and letting new mods come in could change it.
 
Let me get a few things straight.

1. Mod are Moderators, so we have the ability to /ban,/kick, /mute, whatever it takes when we have to enforce a rule.
2. We are always open to new staff, when we need them. Since the server has been getting more busy, we are considering new staff. This takes time, it's not no snap decision. We have to really know the players before we entrust them with even Pre-Mod powers.

I know what you mean, The players cant vote on a player it needs to be up to the staff, We have lots of old and loyal players here who could be tested
 
Guys, I don't think adding more people to tell players what to do is a good idea. We have a bunch of new sore losers on this server now that whine when they don't get their way. And now that I said it, let's get those people off of EW! Adding some helpers can't hurt right?

Sure, let's remove the majority of players, that sounds like a good idea.

You say this, but the only time tim ever adds more staff is when the populous is on the verge of a riot and asking for more staff
 
We don't need a new staff category called "Helpers" ANYBODY at ANYTIME can fulfill this role. There is no point in giving people some pointless title when anyone can do this. As for adding more staff, I'm sure they are considering people to add all the time.

I just think, which i understand i lot, that they dont want to give people power
 
I agree that with the large increase of players we need more staff. I honestly see a staff member every now and then. I think we need more staff, but if the staff we had right know were online more we would be fine.
 
Jrsmouse, there is no need to give people a rank 'helper'. You can help without having a rank.
