I have a large sum of money saved up for a new computer. I was all for the computer, but then I saw this happening.

I know that I haven't played consistently on this server in a couple years, and most of you won't remember me, if not all, but seeing an entire community die like this is a hard thing to do nothing about.

My main issue with this is that the community will not see this, and most have already left, so does that leave many people to play?

If I can see that there will be many people playing after this donation, (NOT FOR CERTAIN) I may donate all of my saved up money to empirewar to help fund it for however long it may last.

The total will end up at $1400. Will it be worth it? Will you guys play?
 
dont, tim wont invest any time in the server. DONT waste your money on a dead server. plz.

Use that money for your own goods; it's your money after all, and donating it to a dying server is like throwing it in a bin.
 
Yea let EW die, it was a good run. EW's community is the only thing I really enjoy anyways, the server is bad and has been for the last 2 years. 4+ years of updates in bukkit skript will make any server lag, if EW was coded in java then I might still play.
 
EW is kinda like Ghostbusters and Battlefront, should be left alone to die while its still good.
 
use that mony to buy a good computer so you will be anle to play other games but minecraft.
(or create your owen server that would be like EW if love minecraft and EW that much)
 
I was considering it. I discussed with Tim finances. But ultimately it is too much of a risk. This is coming from the Top Donator :p
