Yooo. I am coming with huge amount of suggestions. The main point of these changes is to make server just more enjoyable for everyone I AM VERY OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS, SO IF YOU ARE NOT NAMED RIKUMARU MSG ME ON DISCORD :) ( If you are english speaker pls dont kill me, i had horrible teachers

I think there is big problem with constructors and bracing gates. Enoshade explained it a bit in another post. For me , bad thing about bracing gates is that both teams except some archers are waiting for battle, its simple boring. I suggest removing bracing, and , like Eno said , reward constructors more for repairing gates. There were so many situations when the map got stuck on a flag bcs 5 constructors completly blopcked the gate and huge amount of players left. Also , if the gate is braced by many constructors, archers just shot all these poor attackers all the time and they just leave.

Ok. Now i want to talk about changing scoring system. I think it just always sucked. You dont get rewarded for destroying gates, capturing flags, and dying alot makes your score terrible. so, :
- 3 score for kill
- 2 score for assist
- -1 for death
- 4x more score for capping flags
- 1 score for 1 hit - normal bashing
- 2 score for 1 ram hit ( trolls 1(?) )
- way more score for repairing gates ( look point 1)

3: This is something new!
Monthly lb ! I was thinking about something cool , not game-changing to make people want to play more. And there it is! But its not what you think it is( pfff, if i knew what you think ). Every player would get the amount of prestige points depending on how high was he on lb in that month. For example top 3 players would get 10 prestige points, top 4-8 6 prestige points , top 9-15 4 prestige points and so on. You would to log on 1 time in a month to get 1 point.
Amount of your prestige points would indicate the symbol before your nick. For 1-10 prestige points it would be grey, for 11-20 it would be light blue , ... for 100 + it would be red , for 150 + dark red . For example, if my prestige points are 156 :

4: ARCHERS
Archer class has one HUGE problem. It is annoying for opponent! And we really dont want players to be annoyed bcs they wont want to play anymore! I would like to add now, all suggestions are for overall better gameplay experience, not buffing classes i want to play, i love playing archer. FIRST, limiting archers. It HAS to be done. Team going almost full archers completly DISBALANCE map and ANNOY almost ALL enemy team. My suggestion is 1 archer per 3 players. That would make that class more unique. SECOND , NERF( more like change but still nerf):
- less dmg, solid nerf !!!!!
- give it back armor
- MORE arrows !!, i suggest arround 30

Now lets talk about pikeman-like classes. I think they are cancer on the server. Why? Bcs they are very anyoing for evemy to fight them. Classes like that shouldnt be on the server. I really think all of them should be REMOVED from the server.

Donators changes. Its very dangerous topic , but idc :d. These suggestions are to make main classes( gold ) woth buying, more money = better server ( xD what)
Mage - More armor, a bit more melee dmg , less fire ball dmg - less anyoing , mage now can just spam fireballs and its not worth to fight.
Halb - way more arrow protection, make this class invournable for archers , thats why its made .
Medic - more resistance ( more armor ) , simple to stay alive on battlefield longer
Ranger - Iron sword , less voley dmg
Berserker - simple 2 more dmg ( Riku shut up ) , this class is supposed to counter all melee classes ( it should be), and its not countering most of them . Also it can be easly shotted or impaled on spear, making it simple bad. It still wont be that good , that dmg buff isnt that enough to make him op( Some may think that dying to berserker is anyoing , ofc , dying always may be anyoing, but you can easly outplay him, he has no armor, and 1 random arrow can win you a fight , even when u are playing constructor)

- Fly in lobbies for leggend+
- /votefor <map> sage 50 min cd , king 30 min cd
- COLORED rankS !!!!!!!

Minor changes, i dont play on the server too much now so i wont make suggestions for all classes, maybe another time ( some are important for me) :
- soldier - chain leggins , its very small nerf , 0.5 armor point ( This class isnt supposed to be tank, and that wont hurt that much if archers are changed (look point 4)
- bonebreaker - remove kb 2 ( to 1), ( its just stupid ( another first class argument xD) ) , and add more armor
- change windlance , less dmg , shorter reload time ( less anyoing )
 
Very good suggestions, i have little to add to it since i already agree with them for the most part, i'd maybe add a paragraph about changing the voting system; protection II and sharpness I is a HUGE difference with non-voters, and also makes it troublesome to design classes because you don't know if you should design it around non-vote or voter bonuses. I think changing the boots vote to protection I or something else entirely might be a good start.
 
Hi, not rikumaru here. All of them other than 4, 6 and the soldier changes seem great. Disagree with those ones though.
 
The thing is with the archer ratio, if there are so few people on, does that mean nobody would be able to play archer? I like most of these suggestions, except a few. Halberdier for example? Why is it even a tank in the first place? It's just a long pike with an axe on it. I am not sure how to implement its true use, but the way it is now is not the proper one. It was merely designed after Cowny's Halberdier class. No class should be impervious to arrows. I mean, we already have shieldman for that. We don't need another. I believe mage is fine as it is. It has light armor, as it's more versatile and quick. More armor means it wouldn't need speed and all. It makes really no sense to add chain leggings to soldier. Like, why? Base soldier class has been the most balanced class of them all. Pretty much a jack of all trades, and master of none. Also, if berserker were to have two more damage, it would one hit archer as it is(?) Don't quote me on that. I know that it does a ton of damage to archer already. You say pikemen class should be removed, yet Halberdier is a pike with axe, as I've previously stated. They're easily countered by archers. And I do not see why windlance would have a lesser amount of damage. I mean, it's a big ass ballista that fires a large arrow. I mean, that should best all infantry and ranged units, excluding troll.​
 
Yo Drew. Congrats on premod btw xd. 2 archers when there are 6 players on means nobody? Limiting archer would help balance overall and make gameplay more enjoyable for more players. It would prevent situations when there are 4 deffenders and all of them go archers , its really annyoing to play vs them, archer is strong class , even when it gets less kills. Ya idk about halb , i didnt see him in a long time , he prob needs solid revamp. I didnt say that donor classes were bad, i suggested small changes for them . Mage would be less dependant on his fireball , which can be reflected usually. And no. Soldier always was around top 3 classes, good basically on all maps , because its tanky and has a lot of dmg, my nerf wont make it anything bad , its 4 % less dmg reduction, perfect balance, still op class. First off, thank you! But, yea, I can see what you mean by archers being annoying, but I was talking about when there are less than the said amount of people playing. Would it be like troll and have it say that there aren't enough people online to play that said class?​

Any ideas on how to revamp halberdier? And, if we were to reduce the damage of mage's fireball, it'd essentially be a less glorified spearman? Let's not make mage a solely melee class. It's supposed to use guerilla tactics anyways. I mean, it is a fireball after all, and probably around 60% of the fireballs I fire are simply reflected by the player. Also, do fireballs even do that much damage? I personally don't want mage to become something that it's really not.​

I mean, it is the universal class. There are pretty much no weaknesses to it, but no true strengths. It's a solid class at that. With that said, how would a 4% less damage reduction key in? I know this may sound sorta almost sacrilegious, but I think we should model our berserker after cowny's. That class, in my personal opinion, was a masterpiece. Also, once again for berserker, guerilla tactics should be employed.​

I mean, trolls are hecking annoying, but it's just something we have to put up with, because they're the main power on the Orc's team and they're essential for taking ket points in a given area. But, I remember the pikeman from V1 and I even made a thread on removing them, so I am just going to agree with you so I don't sound like hypocrite. What if we lessened the knockback from a bit? Just give them extra range, like they should? And how much lesser damage should it do? Should ballistas just take you down to half a heart? Or what do you propose?​

Firstly nerfing archer down. Currently it has power 1 so the only way to nerf it's damage is by giving it power 0. Power 0 is the same damage a ranger does which means this new archer would need to be just as useful as ranger is. Not only that but a power 0 bow really doesn't do enough damage to secure many kills by itself. Alongside doing that and buffing it's armor would mean archers would almost never be able to kill other archers. I get that it can be frustrating to play against on maps like moria, moria gold and thorins halls, but is that a good reason to destroy a class, especially one as popular as archer (being one of the few free ranged classes)? Wouldn't fixing those maps so archer isn't overpowering on them be a better solution?
EDIT: A big problem I've had with archer recently is the random arrow damage due to removing stable arrow damages. This causes bows to sometimes do obscene amounts of damage or sometimes barely doing much damage.

Secondly nerfing soldier. I don't see any issues with soldier, imo spearman is stronger but I guess that's just preference.

Just to add to what Jorimd said about votes, the difference between players who vote and don't vote is massive. Ranged turns from pretty good to completely overpowered vs non-voters alongside melee (especially spearman) being able to absolutely destroy non-voters. This probably plays into why many new players quit because they are getting destroyed by voter players without realizing why they are dying. Imo the sharpness 1 and protection 2 boots should be a part of each kit in the game since the classes were balanced around having votes. To replace voter bonus of the two votes you could add two 50 point votes (like on v1) or maybe 1 50 point vote and something else.
 
Why dont people vote tho? It takes a few seconds (literally) and most people will end up having all its perks. However, this means that everyone has these voter perks, so theres no point in voting to get something everyone has.

We just need to revamp all the voter perks, with:
1 vote for feather falling 2 on boots : no one likes falling all the time to take dmg and instantly get killed in melee because of that (might be considered a bit op cos some people run away from fights by dropping off ledges and most of the time die : with this boost you probably wont and will be able to get away.....)
a second vote for 50 points, helps everyone to get more point classes that can be pretty expensive
a third vote for voter classes ofc
and a fourth vote that makes restocking quicker maybe?
 
I also think the sharpness voter perk gives too much of an advantage so I suggest replacing that one and give everybody sharpness.

I don't think we should put players at a disadvantage because they don't vote. Sometimes people don't vote because their internet is just all too slow, or they simply don't want to vote. I think we should change the voting rewards to be something that does not affect gameplay.​

Here's the thing, there are different donator classes per given map. There are the set classes, then there is the map specific classes as well. And on the subject of removing archer; no. I don't think I need to explain the justifications of just simply saying no.​
