Ok as many know alot of the maps builds are left out so im thinking of maybe making a bit of a makeover of different maps after exploring a bit whatever thats out of context. If you dont like this basic idea i got another idea that is after a player limit is reached the expanded and upgraded maps are unlocked but here it goes.

* Edhellond, as we may see there is a couple of hard points which need to be taken care of the first capture point on the wall to start off is sometimes extremely hard to get to because archers i recommend we give the corsairs a few more ladders and the edge of the ladders being a bit bigger to work like cover from arrows. After exploring the map i found the corsair harbor and the gondorian harbor maybe both teams spawn in harbors gathering up resources for the raid. During this they prepare the sails gather up cannons and ladders the same with edhellond soliders except its preparing blocks and ladders after a certain time the loading time is up and everyone gets tped to the lobby and can spawn on the normal spots giving them buffs after what they collected. If not all sails are highered they will have a overall debuff of items and be missing ships. As well maybe they can load up cannons on the ships to fire during the first wall attack as well i would wish to have a capture point in the gondorian harbor that is when the corsair loading time is over they sail there and fight to capture the point when they have done that they got a free sailing to the city i recommend this capture is by the docks. As many wish i would say it would be extremely amazing to have many more points in this area tho i guess the staff wouldnt agree so thats why i come with this.

*Dale, dont question my methods but i know how to escape many maps and i know erebor and dale are near including ravenhill so what i heard there was a capture point in the dale map within ravenhill maybe we could reinstate that with items like tar drops. on some fights there would be civilians nearby so maybe we could have villagers in a town hall ore something which the soliders are tasked to protect.

*Laketown, this map is litteraly a player killer so to add some action i recommend we add mutliple retractable bridges there is one by the town hall as example and as a suggestion i got from asking our wonderful community is adding smaug destroying the place but to get rid of smaug we have a hero "Bard" he has the bolts to penetrate the skin of smaug and can only spawn in bards house if the dragon is hit it fly away these bolts take up to 10 seconds to load up and he only has 3 to get rid of it and maybe he could use spear ones to attack enemys and fisherman is a bit to expensive including i think the webs should have less of an effect on teammates as it is almost team griefing just using it and i think its a to easy to bypass the first point by capturing another one

*Helms Deep, this is already a great map tho i dont think the sidekeep should be able to be the last point to be captured. On top of that i feel it would be cool to add a class alike the horseman except nerfed as a point class on the defensive side with lower health ore something included. I think there should be an armory on helms deep you can go there and get like one bar of armor extra on top of your armor and maybe sharpen your weaponry.

Ay some changes to laketown comming up instead of capture flag we would have an objective to burn down houses when they have burned down the selected houses they win as well men of dale can gather buckets and dump it on the fire

Everything sounds great!!! The only thing i feel would be a bit much is gaining sharp on the armory on Helms Deep, maybe some classes can get sharp but i feel it can buff classes to much. Imagine a archer with sharp from voting and sharp from the armory, it would be a bit op.

and yes i would like to play on EW

I agree that some of the points are too hard to cap, and some too easy. The Gate flag is often much too hard, and that does need work. Your other suggestions would be pretty major and require a lot of work however - it'd be an entirely new gamemode, effectively.

Dale

A capture point on Ravenhill would be a long way out of the general progression of the map, and I'm not sure what it'd add. In terms of villager protection, many years ago we had a similar thing on Helm's Deep in the glittering caves, but it didn't really work as people weren't sure what to do, (who to kill, who to defend, whether to go for flag or villagers, etc.)

Laketown

I completely agree about retractable bridges, it'd add more of a siegey element to a conquest map. In terms of Smaug, the only way I can see that being added would be in a similar way to Naz-Gul. And yes, fisherman is quite a fun class but is effectively a mess, as it usually effects teammates more than others. And I also agree that we need to review point class pricing in general.

Helm's Deep

A major feature missing from EW is the ability to have one flag require two previous flags to be captured, before it can be captured. I.e: Right now, you can capture the Keep if the Fortress has been taken. Ideally, you'd be able to capture the Keep only if the Fortress AND the Sidekeep had been taken. That is a feature which would also be useful on Black Gate.

i agree with the general idea of more game modes and the laketown idea. Also tobb, the problem with editing is that it reset the poll's result if i remember right

True, but he could edit replies :)

And yeah, new gamemodes really requires an entirely new thread. I think it'd add a lot tot he server.

Yea maybe i was a bit rude there but i recommend getting an verified account on the current account as well i meant i took that one into action but wish that whatever. Sorry, Now i rly hate myself better fix that...

Uhhh this seems quite irrational, it's still his account. Any legitimate comment should be taken in to account by everyone :P
