Well, What if I said... WE BALANCE ALL THE CLASSES. I mean.. IN NO WAY IS IT PAY TO WIN HERE.
Commander is WEAKER than a troll I mean like Half the classes are weaker than a Non-donor class.
Meaning it is not play to win. but Honestly.. Minecraft will burn without servers.
 
I'll stay out of this for the moment. You musn't forget that we're the only bloody server with this problem. I don't think Mojang will drop it with this decision.

Also, Sjoerd, you are able to charge people for going onto your server. Yes, I'm sure that a part of the players will leave either Minecraft or this server, but it's not the end of the server yet.
 
WELL let's start with Naz gul.. Instead of IT BEING a fellbeast.
Make it an actual Ringwraith.. and don't give it /fly
but we aren't really the only server with this problem...
There are LOTS OF servers with VIP that give OP perks.

They want to stop pay-to-win, but to do that they disallowed ANY form of rewards that effect gameplay. Even if it's not pay-to-win it's not allowed.

We'd lose all new players coming in, and most of the current ones. Plus we'd still have to remove donor ranks.

And they will see the loss of intrest of Minecraft by gamers.. That'll effect them.
 
Cant you find a spncer that wants to support the server and then the server makes advertstions for it, like server texts and name changes
 
You know what we need? We need to make the server as fun as possible,forget donors for a minute, we need something that will be fun for old and new players. New players would simply quit because they don't know how to play and what is going on, however if it is simple and fun for everyone to play, it would attract new people and all we need to do is post something about, to keep the server living for everyone to play we need donations. LMS is pretty fair even with donators, you win you lose. But if we were to play on the same level as non donors maybe the people won't leave as much as they would. Just a suggestion.
 
Or make your own host no costs only the ip but that would alse be a good possibility for empirewar to stay alive

You are allowed to charge players to access your server
So long as the fee is the same for all players, you are allowed to charge for access to your server. You are not allowed to split your playerbase into paying, and non-paying users, nor can you restrict gameplay elements to different tiers of player.

Basically, if you’re charging for access to your server, you are selling a “ticket” and there can only be one type of ticket, no matter how much people are willing to spend.

Its gonna be sad when were walking through the streets of la and we see captainsparklez with a long beard rolled up in a blanket begging for money on the side of the street.
But atleast I get to play hg more.
 
That's the corrupt, hypocrite and extremely fcked up part. He can still earn way too much money of his vids with mc.
