I doubt that he could buy an actual server.
 
Animals could work, like ender dragons, snowmen, bats, cats, cows etc. And maybe you'd be able to make them run to your enemy and explode (fireworks).

or... we could simply ask mojang with a professional letter for permission to host a server like this. its a option just saying they said yes to hypixel why not us? its a option worth trying
 
Mojang is typically making you shut down the server? So you were gambling with starting the server hoping you would get donations or you had money in the bank ready to be spent?
 
Okay enough of the random swearing.

Andrew, why would they accept us? We have just over 100 players, Hypixel is a famous Youtuber with hundreds of thousands of players coming on his server and watching his videos, he has dozens of minigames. What do we have? Nah, Mojang is biased to people like Hypixel, Mine___x, J&H, etc.
