New Trailer for the 3rd Hobbit

Dude. Something happens in the books, then they put it in the movie. People criticize the thing that they see in the movie. If they don't like that scene then it means they don't like it in the book (this is assuming it's unabridged, which I was referring to). Thus they are complaining, indirectly, about the book, and thus J.R.R. Tolkien.
Peter Jackson changed dozens of things. If he can add things that aren't in the books, he can also change things from the books.

This means he can fix things that are stupid in the book, so there's no reason to say: "It's not bad cause it's not in the book"
If he can add things he can also remove bad things.

Look guys, ive seen this question answered by him in a video, he said he changes things to make the movies more interesting. Idc if its changed or CGI or not, ill still see it, because, well, its in middle-earth. Any time i get a chance to journey back there, i will.

I didn't say that I said it meant they were criticizing the books. Obviously you are a) putting words in my mouth or b) not reading what I write.

I'm done arguing with you, you clearly don't read what I say and just stick to the ideas you think are right.
The fact remains that you can't say a sin isn't a sin because it was written like that in the books, because that is not an excuse.

Thu, rule one of Cinema Sins: THE BOOKS DON'T MATTER. They find 'sins' in films, and films only. They do this solely because people like me, or Cookie, find it entertaining; it has nothing to do with the books, at all.
